Here’s the description — aka the main character’s perception and description of the main cast!! And the main character’s description is done by his partner. Felix Hatcher is around 5’4 with a generally average body, other than that. His skin is brown, and it was flushed red almost constantly when he was around me for the longest time. Somehow, I didn’t realize it was because he was in love with me for like four years before we started dating. We’re together now; don’t worry. His shaggy hair is dark brown and about shoulder length. He’s insanely smart. Like, compared to him I must seem like an idiot. I mean—I kind of am. He’s also funny and super good at everything he does! Gods, I’m so in love with him. We’ve lived together for 6-ish years now, and it's great. Of course, it’s annoying when he’s rarely at our apartment because of school, but it’s fine. Gray Hatcher, on the other hand, is a whole other can of worms. She’s Felix’s twin sister, and she’s such a FREAK! Not really, she’s aroace. She just makes a lot of dirty jokes. Her existence is a net positive, though, because I’m about 70% sure Felix and I would have never gotten together without her. She looks a lot like Felix, just with way curlier hair that’s a few inches longer than his, and she’s 6’0. The two of them are like real-life Dipper and Mabel (Gray is Mabel). On to my sister. Athena King. She’s a year younger than me. People think we’re twins a lot, though, because we both have blond hair and we’re both decently tall. I’ve got two inches on her though, so. I’m clearly better. She and Gray are a lot alike. They’re both aroace and weirdos. Athena is also sapphic, though, which I’m just now realizing that both of my sisters are into women. Weird. Oh well. It’s not like I’m straight either. Athena’s also a lot like the Greek goddess Athena. She’s smart. Clever. Insufferable. All of that. Carson, my best friend. They’re a drummer. They’re loud and crazy. They probably drink three energy drinks a day, and honestly, I don’t blame them. Their life is crazy. Their ex-girlfriend was, like, insane or something, they dropped out of college, they work in customer service. I couldn’t imagine being them. There was a period of time when they hated me for…reasons. They were very good reasons. I wasn’t a very good friend to them at first. But that’s all in the past. We’re thick as thieves now. They have short, brown hair and tan skin that’s covered in freckles. From Felix’s perspective: I love Anthony King. As I’m writing this, he’s sitting in just the right position so a light is shining right behind his head, making his short, fluffy blond hair look like a halo around his face. He has glasses with rose gold rims that he can barely see without. He doesn’t think it, but he’s actually very smart—just street-smart, not book-smart. He spends most of his time writing poetry and turning those poems into songs. I think he’s really good at it, but he doesn’t agree with me. His favorite song is I / Me / Myself by Will Wood, and his favorite color is green. I think he likes it because it’s the color of my eyes, but he won’t admit it. I wish I could spend more time with him, but I’m constantly busy with homework and classes, and I really want to get my degree. He dropped out of school in his junior year, which was probably good for him. I can’t imagine him ever going to college. Not even for something like painting. Oh! I don’t think I mentioned that—he’s an artist! He paints a lot of random people we see in public who look interesting. He’s really good at it. I mean, he’s good at everything, but especially that. He’s changed a lot in the years I’ve known him, mostly for the better. I love everything about him, and I have since I first met him. Also, he’s gay.
