Hi! Just something silly I made for fun. Feel free to remix with your answers. — 1: What story will you be using to answer these questions? How would you quickly describe the storyline? For this I think I will use the Buffy the Vampire Slayer AU I am currently writing out. I have a lot of AU's, but the premise of this one is that it takes place now (2025 is season 1, the dates even line up the same with 1997) and follows the same plot as the show except how things would've been now. Except with a few minor tweaks of me removing plots I didn't like or editing them to make more sense. 2: What inspired your story? Thinking about how the show compares with then to now, and also not being satisfied with BtVS 2019 (although the 2022 series "The Vampire Slayer" was perfection imo). 3: Does it take place on Earth or in a made up land? In what time? As previously stated, 2025 onwards on earth. 4: What’s a favorite place in your story and the events that happen there? Sunnydale, California is the main location of the story. 5: Who is your protagonist? What is their mission? Buffy Summers is the main protagonist, but we do get a lot of parts in perspective of Willow, Xander, and Cordelia as well (Xander the most right now as I'm typing this, he's tied with Buffy). 6: Who is the most underrated character in your story and why? Underrated... probably Xander, as he's known to be the "useless" one or the "Zeppo" of the group. 7: What two characters have the most interesting relationship (good or bad)? Willow and Xander definitely. A good relationship, they have the platonic brother/sister dynamic I want everywhere (this is one of the plots getting edited, removing the part with Willow's crush and the weird season 3 arc, now I need another way to introduce Anya because removing this removes "The Wish", unless I leave someone else bitter and heartbroken). 8: What are the conflicts of the story? Do you have villains? Yes, lots of villains and the Big Bads. Currently as of now (working on season 1) it's the Master. 9: Which character is the most misunderstood? Definitely Cordelia Chase. There's no competition. Her personality under the mask is completely different than the one she acts to everyone. 10: Is there a character the most like you (or even based off you)? What qualities do you share? Buffy Summers definitely. We have basically the same personality, silly outgoing ADHD chaos gremlins. 11: Is there an animal sidekick? No. But if I end up going past season 3 maybe I will give Miss Kitty Fantastico a bit bigger role. 12: Who or what acts as the comedic relief? Xander Harris no competition. But also just my way of writing, apparently I always add unintentional humor. 13: What is the underlying message or moral of the story? Moral? Pffffffft. About found family y'all <3 14: What are some symbols or hidden meanings you have placed? Dropping some odd reference to another franchise, or little Easter Eggs only a true fan would know. 15: What genre would you consider your story? Horror/comedy teen drama, like the show. 16: What type of media is your story (book, animation, movie, play, etc)? Book format. 17: What’s a song that matches an event or character in your story? Ohhh there are a LOT. 18: Is it a cast of people, animals, or both? People. Or well, humans and like vampires. 19: What’s something funny or ridiculous that happens? Literally everything. But I'm writing that Buffy fails French 2. And Xander will fail Geometry (but that actually has a plot purpose). And Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros nights. 20: What’s the biggest obstacle your protagonist must overcome? The Big Bad lol. And school. 21: Does anyone die? How does it change things? Yes, of course Jesse dies in like chapter 3. Because that's the catalyst event. I don't know if any main characters will end up dying though, I don't really think they started doing that until after the gang graduated high school. It changes the whole dynamic and leaves Xander even more depressed than he was. 22: Which character would you choose to be your friend? Who would you not get along with? Ok but my whole Scooby Gang I would be besties with. Buffy, Willow, Xander, Cordy, even Giles. And later on in the story Oz and Anya. 23: If any, what weapons are used? Stakes primarily. Punches and kicks, sharp things, holy water, basically everything except those pesky machines that go pew pew. 24: How does your story differ now from when you first started making it? I have more ideas for future plots. And I actually know I'm going somewhere with it. Still working out how everything shakes out though. 25: What’s something interesting about your story that wasn’t asked about here? I currently have a word count of 22801 as I'm posting this.
