HI HI HI Alright, let me get straight to the point. I like Undertale. And there's only so far you can get in liking Undertale without finding the thousands of Undertale AU (Alternate Universes) created. I have known about them for a long time, and this idea for a fan game revolving around my own head canons and story for Dream and Nightmare Sans has been in my mind for a while, and I have finally started work on my Undertale fan game, Dreamtale Empires. The game will take place in a medieval setting (yes, I know, Medieval Dreamtale is a common AU but shush). This is a long term project, and the fan game will be released in sections to avoid as much lag as possible. All music, spritework, story, and other things will be done by me so things will take a long time, please be patient. Now, I know that Undertale fan games tend to be near impossible and either were not playtested or were playtested by Merg, but my goal is to make this not impossible, but still challenging at certain points. I will be releasing bosses for playtesting and all suggestions will be taken into consideration. Certain things, however, will not be counted as suggestions, listed below. -"Make this harder" or "This is too hard" are NOT suggestions. They are valid points, but I can't work with it if you don't tell me what's hard or easy about it. Are bullet patterns strange? Is movement broken? I need as much detail as possible. -Music and sprites count as part of the experience! If you think certain things are off, feel free to point them out and give constructive criticism. ("I hate this" is not constructive criticism.) I hope to make this accessible even if you are not a regular player of the Toby Fox games or have not played them at all. A tutorial will be given at the start and the difficulty curves will not be too drastic (Hopefully). Warning: Although this game is meant to be lighthearted and fun, like the original Undertale, there will be some parts that border on psychological horror. If this makes you uncomfortable, maybe consider not playing. Thank you for reading, more info in the future. A demo will be released at some point. Spreading the word is not required, but it would help me a lot. Music is sans. from Undertale
