Cover art. I never actually drawn backs of characters before and for my first try I think I did pretty well! I like music when I read so I put some! - Zelda's POV - I lied there....and felt something prickle me from underneath. I then opened my eyes. Where was I? The sky I saw above was not a normal blue color, but instead a bright red and the moon...no longer white, but a bloody red. I realized I was lying on the grass and sat up confused. Wasn't I looking over Hyrule castle a moment ago? My thoughts then got quickly interrupted by a high pitched voice. "HALT!" I then looked around and I was surrounded by blue and red bokoblins. They roughly yanked me up, took my hands and forced them behind my back, then tied ropes to secure them. "Follow us," One blue one ordered. I obeyed their instructions and began to follow behind them. This place...was this Hyrule? I glanced around and noticed that trees were burnt down, flags hung high everywhere with the evil Ganondorf on them, and the stable I saw on the way there was brutally....destoryed. Only rotting wood that once held the walls remained. When I looked where we were going I couldn't believe it. What stood right in the distance was a stone brick fortress, but it was covered in gloom and malice on the outside. It stood about where Hyrule Castle used to be. "Why are you taking me here?" I asked. One of the boko's replied with a smirk on their little face "To see the Demon King of course! This is his fortress," My eyes widened with fear....I was terrified of what would happen next. The Demon King he's alive...and he took over the kingdom. As we approached the gates the bokoblins pulled a stone lever and the gates opened. They then harshly pushed me forward "Get going! He ain't got all day!" I glared at them and started walking at a faster pace. I scanned the area and noticed this was where Look Out Landing used to be, but there were no Hylians only Ganondorf's ugly monsters. I saw The Skyview tower...now repurposed to launch monsters up into the perilous red sky. As I saw a bokoblin go flying and came back down to hit the hard stone floor, dying in the process. That means they must of got a hold of the Purah pad. Dang it! I saw all the shops now in ruins as there were monster camps, and weird stalls set up for food and games in their place. One of the games caught my interest as moblins dunked their heads into a huge barrel of green gooey water and came back out with fish bones in their large fangs instead of apples. I guess they just decided to copy us Hylians? That's what we do on Hyrule day! I then looked at a stand with lot's of boar meat and there was a huge line of boko's, moblins, lynels, and boss bokos waiting to get their fair share of food. What greedy pigs they are. "HEY PAY ATTENTION!" One of the red Boko's shouted at me and then slapped me right across the cheek. My cheek then turned really red and it stinged in pain. The bokoblin managed to get part of my mouth as well and blood started streaming down my bottom lip. I then glimpsed to the right and I saw something horrifying. Hylians a bunch of them, but they were tied together with ropes led by Bokos. They all looked pitiful, a lot of them had scars and were bleeding too. I wish I could help them, but then turned my focus back towards where I was going so I wouldn't get smacked again. The bokos and I finally reached the fortress that I saw in the distance earlier. It had long broken down cobblestone stairs leading to the top of the place. I took a couple steps and part of the stone stair fell off. Catiously, I slowly took another step and another until I finally reached the top. There he was...the...Demon King...or in other words...Ganondorf. He was facing the opposite direction to me, his red hair flowing gracefully down his back. He swiftly turned around. "Brought another prisoner for me eh?" He grinned evilly. "Y-yes we have your honor," The blue bokoblin stuttered. After he finished, he shoved me to the ground...my face touching the cold rough stone. "Bow down to his Majesty!" A red bokoblin demanded. I gasped in pain...blood started arising from underneath my head as I tried to get up. Ganondorf came closer and looked at me with a bored expression. "This isn't the one I'm looking for. Take her down and lock her in the dungeon with the other prisoners," he commanded. "Uh- uh ye- yes sir!" A red one responded. Then one yanked me up and took me halfway down the stairs I just came up from. In front of me was a door and one of them unlocked it with a sliver small metal key. The door creaked open and we began walking past all the cells. I saw Hylians locked behind bars some knocked out, some crying or moaning, some staying quiet, and some...are...d3ad. Among these people I didn't see Link though...I wonder if he got captured too. (continued in notes/credits)
Again they used a key, but this time it was a copper key, to unlock a lone cell for me, untied my ropes from my hands behind my back, and threw me in. I peered around to see my surroundings and saw gloom on the walls. So I had to be careful not to touch it. I also saw a torch to my right attached to the stone brick wall in the cell I was in. I then remained there for the next three weeks. Everyday bokoblins came in and gave us slop to eat...around in the afternoon. They told us it was the only meal we would get a day. It didn't look very appetizing nor was I going to eat anything they gave me so I found bugs and ate them instead. It took me a couple days to force myself to eat them, but eventually I got over it. We got out in the evenings once a day and went to the place that used to be Look Out Landing again. We got in line for some sort of Hylian dart throwing game. Luckily, they only choose a couple Hylians a day and I haven't been chosen yet, but I suffered the pain watching my people get hit by darts in the head, legs, arms and stomach. Everyday I sat in that cell miserable wishing I could get my people out of here, so today I decided was the day...I would break out of this heck of a place. So, when the bokoblins took us out for the evenings, I burst out, and tried taking his spiked club. I pulled and pulled until he lost his grip that's when I whacked him with it. I almost lost my balance after hitting him because it was really really heavy. I began sprinting to the exit. "HEY CATCH HER!" One of them screamed. I then shoved him and he fell off the stairs and hit the grass below. "GET HER!" A bokoblin instructed, but not just any bokoblin it was a Boss Bokoblin. I then started running down the rocky stairs as he began chasing me. I was almost down, but before I reached the bottom a stair collapsed underneath me sending me to the ground. I shot up and then I began rushing through the Boko stalls ruining them in the process. "CATCH THAT FUGITIVE HYLIAN!" The boss Boko ordered. Every monster than started trying to catch me I barely dodged them and one eventually caught me. After that, I jerked away ripping some of my zonai dress. The gate was just in sight- I was almost free! "CLOSE THE GATES! CLOSE THE GATES!" Screeched the Boss Boko. It was almost closed there was no way I was going to fit, so I slid on the stone rubble just in time to get through. Ok thank you for reading for the people who clicked into this project! I hope you guys found this somewhat entertaining! I tried to make this interesting so I hope I did! The three characters on the cover are the main characters! Zelda, Paya, and Link! I will probably switch POVS between all of them! So the next 2-3 chapters will be focused on the other two! And probably explain how Ganondorf took over Hyrule in the first place! So if you stayed here long enough tap/space to see some art on Zelda trapped in Ganondorf's dugeon! I have mixed feelings about how it turned out. Sorry for the bad name too I didn't know what to name my fanfic...lol. - CREDITS - Demon Dragon (Final Boss Battle) - The Legend Of Zelda_ Tears Of The Kingdom OST for music.
