Two Time hadn't been able to focus all day, their thoughts had always been trailing back to a forest they had never seen before. So they finally listened. After school that day, they didn't go home. Instead they weaved down the wrong path on purpose, almost as if their feet knew exactly where to go and were moving on their own. The forest was ridden with nightshade, everywhere you looked there was more and more nightshade flowers. Two Time paused, skidding to a stop as they heard a rustle. "Hello...? Anyone there..?" No response. Just the peaceful singing of birds and the leaves swaying in the wind. Just then, there was a crash and a screech that didn't quite sound human. Two silhouettes passed by, looming in between trees. Two Time flinched, then broke into a sprint, running after the shadows. They finally caught up to the two, the slightly taller one had tentacle-like vines sprouting from his back, nightshade blooming from them. The other, smaller one, was hovering just above the ground, they looked injured. They had two small wings on both sides of their head, a halo wrapped around their skull, ridden with thorns, and two black tails that had hands.. or rather claws at the end of them. Neither seemed really... human. "My my, Azure! You've certainly become more aggressive!" The small one said, trembling with mock-fear. Azure didn't respond, just lashed out another vine like a whip. The small one feigned flinching which allowed them to dodge. Two Time suddenly burst out from hiding, "What's going on here...? They aren't fighting back, why are you hurting random people?!" Azure took a small step back, then his expression hardened again. "This doesn't concern you. You don't know them." Two Time still stood, not moving an inch. "Who even are you?!" Azure didn't respond just stood straighter. He sighed, turning slowly, and trailed back into the shadows, Two Time staring after him.
