Use it like a real lift.

Brand: Dale and Reynolds. Year: 1999. Type: Single ram roped hydraulic with motor room at floor 0. Capacity: 1000 kg or 13 persons. Logic: Lester Controls. Voice: Lester Controls (Older version). Fixturs: Unknown indicators and big Dewhurst US85 buttons. Full speed: 1 m/s. Levelling speed: 0.05 m/s. Maintenance company: Jackson Lift Group since 2020 (Previously Dale and Reynolds (1999-2014), then Nova Lifts (2014-2020)). Doors: Selcom. Autodialler: Replaced with SafeLine in the 2010's. Serial number: DARE 0001. Starter type: Star-delta. Motor: GMV T2 submersible hydraulic pump unit. Location: Pasta Fiesta Restaurant, 149 Imperial Lane, El Garcia, ST. This lift is the oldest lift in El Garcia which uses Lester Controls equipment. It's a 1999 Dale and Reynolds hydraulic lift. This lift is very cheap and is maintained by Jackson Lift Group but somehow it's still original! I know a bunch of much better lifts which weren't so lucky... Also, this lift has a super simple controller as it only accepts one call at a time which is very odd and very cheap at the same time! The build quality is kind of OK and it goes 1 m/s which is a good speed for a hydraulic lift. Also, this lift uses a GMV hydraulic pump unit which sounds pretty nice. However, this lift takes a long time to charge and it takes 14 SECONDS to level going up, yet takes 2 seconds to level going down! The super slow levelling generates so much heat that a loud oil cooling fan needs to activate all the time! Also, the Dewhurst buttons are US85 which are kind of OK, the logic is very inefficient and rubbish, the voice is terrible but at least it doesn't say please mind the doors since it's an older late 90's Lester controller and the door operator is a stupid Selcom one which screams. But at least, the doors are fast and the door timer is reasonable. This lift is surprizingly reall smooth which is not what I'm expecting from a cheap generic hydraulic which is now 26 years old... Now, 26 years old isn't old for a lift, but cheap generic hydraulic lifts are only built to last like 10 to 15 years which is very bad IMO! However, this is not the case of this one and it's still in very good condition! But neverthless, it's still rather garbage because of the horrid levelling going up, the Selcom door operator, the Lester Controls logic which only takes 1 call at at time, the Lester voice and the hydraulics takes a while to charge. Also, the fire alarms in the buildings have just been replaced! The system was a 1999 1st Gen addressable FireSweeper system with Wheelock AS horn strobes but it got fully replaced in June 2025 with a new 3rd Gen addressable FireSweeper system with voice evac and EST Genesis speaker strobes. The remote strobes used to be Wheelock too but they have been replaced with EST Genesis ones. The system plays the Integrity Code 3 tone and the classic EST message. Also, the PC's in this place are Lenovo ThinkStation P330 desktops, Lenovo ThinkPad P52 laptops, Dell OptiPlex 7060 MT desktops and Dell Latitude 7400 laptops. They all have 8th Gen i7 CPU's and luckily the laptops all have modular charger port and not soldered USB-C. The restaurant won't replace these computers anytime soon because they're still fast enough and can run Windows 11. Also, Dale and Reynold is a lift company which was founded in July 1999. As you can tell by the serial number, this is their very first lift installation. This brand install and modernize lifts using Lester Controls stuff only and they've been doing this since 1999. The company still exists but Temple Lifts bought them in November 2008 and they still install and modernize lifts with Lester Controls equipment only since then... What a dull, boring and bland lift company! BLERGHH!
