How Switch was going to end (+ bonus art & writing)

Hi guys! I have returned for something very important- explaining how Switch’s story was gonna continue. Because at first I thought maybe I’d continue it one day, so I shouldn’t spoil it, but honestly if I ever work on it again it’s gonna be completely different lol so I’ll just tell you guys everything! A final feast for all the Switch fans, I suppose :] Oh btw you can click to see unfinished panels and concept art and stuff, I would recommend you read this main description first though, and refer to certain slides when mentioned! Descriptions of the images are in Notes and Credits. Okay, so after the events of the last chapter, both Xin and Evan would have to go to each other’s houses until they switch back, which neither of them are happy about. However, neither of them want to worry their parents- Xin thinks his mom is gonna make him move schools or something if she finds out his power was revealed, and Evan’s parents hate demons and would be very hard to explain the situation to. So basically they’d both learn what each other’s situations are; Xin would find out how controlling and strict Evan’s parents are (btw, his parents call him by his full name, Evangeline) and Evan would have a bit of a change of heart realizing that demons aren’t actually evil and terrible and his change of heart would actually be what makes them switch back. At some point soon after this Xin would decide to set off on his own to go find the seal, but Roz and Jay both realize he’s missing somehow and each go off on their own to find him, eventually bumping into each other on the way there. Roz talks to Xin, saying she was worried about him, I guess, but she keeps fighting with Jayvien the whole time and eventually I think Xin would be fed up and ask why they’re fighting so much anyways and then the juicy backstory begins!! Roz and Jayvien used to be friends in elementary school (or some equivalent of that), until one day Jay started only hanging out with the popular kids and seemingly ignoring her. She tried to make friends after that, but most people found her weird and she had a really hard time. But the real reason was that people suddenly held a weird admiration for Jay, and he couldn’t shake off all the people. (But it is also kinda his fault, he could have tried harder) This part was gonna be explained later, but the reason Jayvien had/has the “cool kid aura” (that is not what it’s called) was cuz his family has a secret source of magic that gave them all that through necklaces they wore. Jayvien wore his necklace because it was like important to him, I think I was gonna make it belong to a dead brother or something who his parents constantly compared him to, but then when he figures out the truth, he rips it off, and maybe Roz gives him a friendship necklace or something as a replacement :> (Before you read this next part, go to slides 10-14!) Eventually they’d arrive at the city, and it’s all in ruins. Xin remarks that it was called Peredine, even though he has no idea how he knows that. They find the seal, and it needs to be touched by a cat, an angel, and a demon to break, and so they do. I don’t remember what immediate effects this has though, but it was bad, even if they didn’t realize it, because little did they know they released the Absolution. But I thought the whole point was that some of the Absolution (the darkness) escaped the seal anyways?? Idk, what was I even writing man… After this I thought it would be fun if the three had a sleepover together, it would be a bit silly but I think something would go wrong at the end?? Idk- One of the last things that was gonna happen was that the three would find out that there’s actually a lot more people with secret powers than they thought. Though, most of them are fairly weak compared to Xin’s. I think there was gonna be someone who could teleport through water, her name was Petri, this character called Almira was gonna be in it (maybe some of you know her already!), and I was kind of on the fence about this one but maybe someone who could read minds, but only when the thoughts are about them- And the club was gonna have a fake name to avoid suspicion, Trash Picker Uppers, but the real name is True Powers Unite lol And then, one time at the club, one of the members is weirdly pushy about wanting to try Xin’s power. He says no, but they forcefully remove his eyepatch or something and switch. Turns out that they weren’t even a person, they were a part of the Absolution disguising themselves, and then they run off and try to like- kill Xin by doing something terrible while in his body. Gosh, that’s kinda dark, actually… And Xin would be in a body of like pure darkness and that would be interesting idk what the effects of that would be- Idk when, but the prologue you read earlier would be revealed to actually be the fake version of history that everyone believes is true.
