Final lesson! Thank you so much PercySwing for hosting this class, I had a lot of fun and learned a lot :D Also congrats on being one of the few scratchers to create a art/design class and actually finish all the lessons- 1. My reference for Calista! I think she already has a decent amount of details so I didn’t change anything 2. Ok a bit of information for this one- This is one of my oldest non fandom ocs Crystal! I couldn’t find the first time I drew her, so I just referenced off some sketches I did (which is why it looks wonky-) Her story is she was a warrior in the past but due to some shenanigans ended up frozen in time. She was than saved by a group of friends in modern time (and also has to deal with her friend/new enemy who also somehow survived through the ages-) I’d say her design was ok if you didn’t know what her role in the story was- it is pretty simple tho 3. Her new design! The focus for this design was ‘crystal snow warrior’ Things I did: - diamonds throughout the design -made her hair off white - added a dark cyanish color to the color palette and used the off white more -changed the hair style to be half up half down, making it easier to fight in - gave her clothes suited for a colder environment (she originally lived in a snowy forest - added a diamond necklace (this originally had lore relevance, idk why I never added it to her design-) 4. This was more just for fun, but I also did her modern design (she never had one in her old design-). I made her hair more similar to the original, since I’d imagine she’d love to grow her hair out. Her outfit is very casual since she is pretty laidback and friendly. I kept the scabbard since Crystal is still attached to her old ways somewhat (it’s also why she’s wearing boots. 5-6. All the designs plus grayscale. I definitely like the improvement I’ve done with these designs! These designs are a bit rushed (both were done in an hour, my designs usually take between 2-3), but I think they do a good job of portraying Crystals character and role. Looking at the grayscale, I think the middle design is pretty good, but the modern design could be improved (the striped sleeve blends together as well as the pants and shoes with each other) -Credits- Art and ocs: @PurpleHighlighter1 Song: Clair Obscur Expedition 33 - Monoco (Original Soundtrack)
