They're constantly vying for attention, and most of their actions are motivated by this. They aim to be a leader when they're older - or to kill one, whichever will give them the bigger spotlight. Despite this, they are fiercely protective of their siblings, sometimes to a concerning degree. To him even a splinter is a tragedy, a failure on his part which she must work to fix as soon as possible. ] ❝ But I can't burn the pain ❞ [ - Via and I are vying to get kits at the same time, so we'd probably grind for extra buff kittos - As he grows older I imagine his fur would get longer, allowing for him to push his 'wings' out of his eyes for the look in the thumbnail C: - I generally go for medic apt for all of my characters, just to keep my options open while they're young - Sills had 30+ medic apt, for example. I'll continue this trend for Bird <3 - His long fur would make it hard to swim, so he would avoid it when possible <3 ❝ And I can't forget it. ❞ [ Bobtails are a genetic trait fairly common in cats, due to humans breeding specifically for it in breeds like the American bobtail. Bobtails can also randomly mutate, which I assume is what happened here due to none of his siblings being bobtails! Bobtails can be prone to other illnesses such as hip dysplasia and spinal issues, but none of these affect Bird. If she has children, they will be at a MUCH higher risk to them and may face other serious chronic health problems. The primary issue Bird's lack of a tail will cause will be difficulty communicating with other cats. Tails and their movements make up a huge part of cat body language, so Bird may come across as having an unusual tone to cats unfamiliar with him. Because he was born with a bobtail rather than suddenly losing it later in life, Bird will not have any significant issues with balance. Bobtail cats carry one bobtail gene - carrying two is fatal.
