Transnominal is a term and name identity that describes those whose name is associated with a different gender than one's AGAB (assigned gender at birth). One does not have to be transgender to be transnominal, and being transnominal is not a requirement for being transgender or transpronominal. One also does not have to have name dysphoria to be transnominal. Another definition is where one identifies with a different name than one's assigned name at birth.
