Bim woke up, head feeling groggy and vision blurry. /Where am I?/ They thought, standing up. Standing up? Why where they even on the floor in the first place? Where were they? What was happening to them? Bim looked around. The… [place] was so empty. In the distance, Bim could see a small, white farmhouse with a red roof. The house was very simple, plain and boxy looking. The sky was plain and blue, cloudless and [sunless]. Yet the [place] was light. A few fluffy-looking clouds were floating around the house and near the ground, which was strange. And the ground… was a brownish-green and baren. No flowers, no animals, no nothing. Bim started forward toward the strange house. It looked close enough, yet with every step they took, it got farther and farther away. So they started running. As fast as they could go. [Still] it wasn’t coming any closer until- Strangely, yet not so strangely, the ground beneath their feet began to blur; pebbles skittering sideways, the earth feeling thinner, almost hollow. Bim’s lungs started to burn. The air pulsed like it was holding its breath. Then, without warning, the ground gave way. There was no time to scream. One second Bim was sprinting, the next they were falling — weightless, spinning, swallowed by the earth. Bim landed on the ground with a hard [oomph]. Once again, the same foggy-groggy head and bleary vision, Bim sat up, looking around. A room. It was a hallway, with doors only just visible. The walls were white and there were eyes - in pink, yellow, blue, green and turquoise - stuck on the walls. Bim stood, starting forward. The eyes followed them as they walked down the hall, stopping at a door with a purple glow. Before Bim could open it, the door swung open and there stood a girl, about the same age as them. "Bim!" She threw her arms around them, with a happy cry, startling them. "It’s been so long!" Bim blinked, pulling away from the girl. "Who… I have no idea who you are." The girl blinked and pulled away, looking hurt. "Bim, it’s me. Bliss! Don’t you remember? Listen, we had a song, maybe that’ll remind you. It went like… ♪ Bim and Bliss, Bim and Bliss ♪ ♪ Laughing loud where dreams exist ♪ ♪ Bim and Bliss, Bim and Bliss ♪ ♪ Dancing through the midnight mist ♪ " Remember?" Bim shook their head. No, no they did [not] remember. This girl - Bliss - was a complete stranger to them. But then again… this whole place was weird, so maybe Bim knew Bliss and they had forgotten. Bliss grabbed Bim’s hand, pulling him into the room. "Come on, let’s go play!" That sounded eerie. Bim followed Bliss anyway. What other option did they have? Bliss dragged them into the room she had come out from, stunning Bim into further confusion. Outside was where they had just been. And… they could see [themselves]. At least they thought it was themself. Bim watch as they walked, ran and then fell into the same hole they had just fallen into. It was as though it was on loop.
