IMPORTANT! 1: Inventory. 2: Survival. 3: Options. 4: Trinkets. 5: Extras. 1: INVENTORY. The 4 bars located on the top left portion of your screen show how much sleep, sanity, food, water, in respective order from top to bottom. To tell if you have food, water, trinkets, or electricity for the night, look under your money counter. Make sure to prioritize the resources you have the least of over others. 2: SURVIVAL. The game ends when one of your bars is fully depleted. (A fully gray bar is your last warning!) This is how to keep those bars up. SLEEP: At the start of a turn, click the sleep button, pretty self explanatory. However, this means you cannot go trade during that turn and will advance the day by 1 stage. SANITY: This is directly affected by sleeping. If you sleep with no electricity, (Your character is scared of the dark or something.) Your sanity will go down by one. This is an extremely important stat, as the lower it gets, the worse the side effects are. FOOD: At the start of a day, 1 food must be consumed. If you don’t have any food, the bar goes down. WATER: Same as food, 1 must be consumed every morning or else the bar goes down. 3: OPTIONS. In this section, every choice is stated with its following action. You cannot chose both options at once. TRADE: Allows you to access the local market, offering food, water, guns, trinkets, and electicity. SLEEP: Skips the trading period to rest and gain energy. 4: TRINKETS: This is how you can earn money. You buy trinkets for low and sell them for high. An option to sell trinkets can be found on the night market ONLY. 5: EXTRAS: This section contains everything else that doesn’t belong in any previous sections. TIPS: A tip will appear on every loading screen, giving you reminders or refreshers on game mechanics.
