Depeche Mode. The folks have recommended this band to me very long time ago. Before I actually tried to listen to it. I wonder why I used to avoid old music. Glad I stopped, because if I didn't, I would've not found a new fascinating genre of music — synthpop. I started to fight my fear of old music with Covenant, who started their career in 90's, and after hearing song "Personal Jesus" by Depeche Mode, I was like "Wow, this sounds just like song Like Tears In Rain"! Got to know that Covenant was kind of a Depeche Mode ripoff, got a bit disappointed but not anymore since now I think the styles of the both bands are different. By the way, I think Depeche Mode's new music is cooler than the old. Okay, anyways, there's a lot of songs that are cool from their older stuff (Violator has few bangers!) and not that good from the newer stuff (I cannot understand Sounds Of The Universe album...why does it exist) P. S. A PAIN THAT I'M USED TO IS PERFECT... I cannot describe it yayyyyy... The siren that is messy at the start blends into the farther melody very well despite being so out of place at the beginning... 21.02.2026 edit: Sounds Of The Universe is actually great... And their old stuff not worse than the newer, they're just 2 different kinds (with and without Wilder)
ALL THIS RUNNING AROUND WELL IT'S GETTING ME DOWN JUST GIVE ME A PAIN THAT I'M USED TO... I dont need to believe all the things you concieve you just need to achieve something that rings true NOT putting the audio here since i am too lazy to code today and it starts with the disturbing sounds that may make someone anxious
