In the middle of the battle, I saw Hazel trying to eat a boulder. It was so stupid, I laughed until I almost cried. Even the monster had no idea what was going on. It’s called “beyond the shadows” and for context look at the prompt and prologue shown in the notes and the project itself Chapter one draft: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1197458247/
In our small town in Minnesota, there was an old legend that there was monsters lurking in the small corners of the town. Of course, no one ever believed it – monsters weren’t real. Right? The streets were quiet most days, the kind of quiet that made you wonder if there was something just beyond the shadows. Most people just minded their business and assumed that those legends were just stories parents told their kids to keep them inside at night. However, when me and Hazel were exploring the town’s library, we discovered something that proved everyone wrong. While looking at the old books, Hazel found a volume filled with ancient journals of people who were attacked or seen people get attacked by the monsters. We decided to borrow the book so we could do more research and figure out what we were going to do next.
