A very weird version of chess. - Check and checkmate do not exist. The way you win is by capturing the opposing king. - There is no castling, or en passant, or any "special" movement other than the very basics of each piece. - Pawns always get promoted to queens. - There are no draws or stalemates; games continue until one king gets captured. - Capturing a piece gives points (pawn = 10, bishop and knight = 30, rook = 50, queen = 100), plus a streak bonus if you keep capturing. If you spend a turn without capturing anything, that breaks the streak. - Power-ups can be purchased with points. These have a wide variety of effects which can be seen by hovering over them. Only one power-up per turn! - There is a timed mode, where each player has a timer that ticks down while it is their turn. If a player's timer hits zero, the other player automatically wins.
