Most cats with bobtails can live happy and healthy lives, but it can cause spinal, hip, bowel and urinary, and neurological issues. Some diseases that can result from it include arthritis, manx syndrome, and hip dysplasia. If they suffer from any of these diseases, it can usually be noticed early on in their life. The signs could be a weak gait, stiffness, avoidance of jumping, low activity levels, and urinary and fecal incontinence. If you consult your veterinarian, they can arrange treatment plans. But due to them being a feral cat, that would not be an option for them.
