honestly- it doesn't look too bad if you didn't know what it was supposed to look like. I didn't get to see it side by side w the reference til I uploaded it here this is obviously VERY different from my usual style, plus I challenged myself to do everything in only one layer... I should've done background first. This was interesting tho because I didn't stick to a color pallet, and instead was selecting colors from the color picker. I just looked at the part of the face I'm working on, and then choosing a close enough color. its basically like painting looking thru the process I kinda wish I didn't do some of the adjustments I did (especially the mouth) ;;; things I think could be improved on, the mouth, hair, eyes, anatomy, like everything really..
