━━━ ∙ʚɞ∙ ━━━ Welcome to the July '25 Critiquitaire! Are you finished a piece of writing and now looking for some feedback? Well, it's Critiquitaire time! You can offer up Writing Competition entries, dailies, weeklies, excerpts from your novel, or anything else you’d like to get an opinion on. Simply comment below with the following: ❀ Your cabin ❀ A link to your piece (Scratch-only links) ❀The word count ❀ A short one-sentence description of your writing (genre, themes, anything you’d like to share!) ❀ What kind of critique you’re looking for (A general overview and thoughts, a grammar/spelling check, etc.) (note: your critiquitaire submission cannot be above 2000 words <3) Someone will reply to your comment with the same information - and then you’re off to critique each others' pieces! If you like, you two can decide between yourselves on a deadline you’d like to have the other person’s feedback by :) You can submit the same piece more than one time, just please make sure you're not spamming everybody with the same one! It's definitely helpful to get feedback from more than one person so please don't hesitate about sending the same piece to another individual to get more feedback :D ━━━ ∙ʚɞ∙ ━━━ How many points can you get from a Critiquitaire? If you write: ❀ 100 words of critique - 200 points ❀ 200 words of critique - 300 points ❀ 300 words of critique - 400 points Your critique must be at least 100 words for it to count. You can write more than 300 words, but you can’t earn more than 400 points! After both you and your partner completed your critiques, comment in the Main Cabin with proof to claim your points! Leaders won’t be checking this project. ━━━ ∙ʚɞ∙ ━━━ Other Notes: ❀ Like in word wars, you can only earn points for one Critiquitaire per day. ❀ Please provide warnings for potentially triggering topics in your writing <33 ❀ If your comment gets buried and you don’t get a reply, feel free to repost! ❀ If you’d like a resource on critiquing, take a look at this excellent past workshop by Kat (@whiteandblackcat): https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/535605834/ ━━━ ∙ʚɞ∙ ━━━ Credits: ❀ for the idea ❀ Thumbnail made on Canva by me (i am so sorry, i am not good at thumbnails xDD) ❀ Description by and heavily based off of 's original
