With news of the ceasefire, UIS operations within the straight no longer concerned its own interests. In doing so, the blockade of military and coast guard vessels was lifted. Shown here is an image of a Meowiporean Navy Vanguard Class Corvette rendezvousing with a UIS Type-88-II Nuclear Fast Attack Submarine, after having tracked it for over 4 days. The Type-88-II resurfaced after multiple warnings and threats to leave GDA waters. Purravia News Correspondents, a Pro-Nationalist GDA based news outlet commented: "The Sub hunt has been heralded as a huge Victory for the GDA. The visual similarities to the 'Triton' Submarine have borderline confirmed aggressive UIS operations within GDA. Along with this, the GDA has proven it will not back down, but will defend its territorial rights in the face of a seemingly intentionally belligerent imperial aggressor." The story has been seemingly downplayed and underreported by the UIS, however the UIS Naval Institute commended Meowiporean actions as "Seemingly Undervalued in their adequacy and discipline in performing basic ASW warfare in a peaceful setting."
