I redesigned China's flag. And yes, I redesigned it. If you want to know about what everything on the flag means, get ready for this 'essay': Stripes: The stripes represent the 5 races. In order from top to bottom, they are the Han (red), the Manchu (yellow), the Mongols (blue), the Muslims (white), and the Tibetans (black). Stars and Yin and Yang: The 11 stars surrounding the red circle represent the 11 major dynasties, while the Yin and Yang represent the 2 periods of disunion. Within the red circle (outside the golden ring): The 9 stars in the circle around the inner part represent the number 9, which in China is linked with long-lasting and forever. The olive branches that go with the stars represent peace and unity. Within the red circle (inside the golden ring): The hammer and sickle represent the communist party, and the stars surrounding, going in clockwise, represent the 4 classes, national bourgeoisie (capitalists and merchants), urban petite bourgeoisie (small business and shop owners), working class (factory workers), and the peasantry (farmers).
