The cat in the animation (Lilystem) was a promising young warrior who had high hopes to become leader she ended up falling in love with Birchclaw a highly respected warrior and the Deputy at the time. They grew close and became mates. Birchclaw became leader and appointed Lilystem as deputy. Basically what ends up happening is Birchstar goes full Tigerstar and does all that sha-bang, two clans as one and such Lilystem tries to stop him but Birchstar Attacks her in anger and rips her throat out Lilystem survives miraculously but she loses the ability to speak. I dunno what happens next, I might finish the story? but the chances are low.
