You are a Scratch Cat stuck in a pitch-black series of rooms that lead to an exit. However, you have a torch that you can use to light the nearby surroundings. You use your torch to find the key, and use it to unlock the door with the red keyhole. NEVER unlock the door with the yellow keyhole. However many rooms you must weave, dash and cross before reaching the light is unknown. …did you really think you were alone? WASD/arrow keys to move. Space to dash. Don’t play with TurboWarp on. Ok fine. Since you bothered to scroll down this far, here are some tips. 1. False doors are guaranteed to appear on Rooms 8 and 20, and to be absent on Rooms 1-7. Everything else is up to random chance. 2. Speaking of false doors, it is a good idea to memorise their location so you can avoid accidentally unlocking it after acquiring the key. 3. It is also a good idea to keep tabs on where the evil cat is and where he is headed to plan and act ahead. 4. Use your dashes sparingly. They are very powerful. Especially sparingly in the late game, as the evil cat generally moves faster the more rooms you explore. 5. The evil cat does not follow you if it sees you. Use this to your advantage. 6. Instead, it goes in random directions, so if you aren't seeing him, be careful. You may happen to stumble upon him sooner or later. 7. Sometimes, the evil cat may camp a key or a door by chance. A little patience is the key; he will almost always leave the area after a short while. 8. The footsteps are those of the evil cat's, which means that the quieter those are, the farther away he is. If you need to, you can gauge the volume of his footsteps to get a general sense of his distance from you. 9. Don't be discouraged by the game's difficulty (especially if you're on mobile, the control scheme on mobile makes the difficulty harder unfortunately). You will get better with every run even if it isn't apparent right away.
The jumpscare noise and the default ambience were taken from Baldi’s Basics. Wind ambience taken from one of my earlier projects. IMPORTANT: This is not the full release of this game!
