New Team comp idea: Mineon, Spinozzard if its still in this, probably Petriviper, maybe Sludgdile, Maybe Volcobra? Or another Ice type? I dunno how to decide this, so I think their narrative role should be decided first. Also, I did my best to copy the artstyle so it'd take less effort to redesign them. Here are some characterization ideas: [(?) = not *too* attached to the idea but still worth suggesting] -Child/Grandchild (yes, gender neutral on purpose, not sure which direction, if any, I'm leaning on that front) of Matt (?) -If Matt's grandchild, mentions 'working to prove gramps right about [their] potential' through battles -Fond of Eury, maybe add an optional subplot or cross mentions in their dialogue? we can discuss if/how this would go -Helps with research as a hobby, esp if the following point is allowed to be integrated by using the access to (locally) rarer pokemon to help test things more thoroughly -Works someplace where they could/would get access to nearby foreign and/or endangered species of pokemon, maybe a cargo ship bay or wildlife reserve -Never focussed on what anyone else would expect, zones out a lot, and often can't explain what they were distracted by to anyone else either. -offers a gift of an otherwise rare pokemon or recurring access to a safari zone type area as a reward after a battle at nearly E4/Gym-Leader-Rematch level, -(assuming prior) Maybe also gives A "National Dex" (which only keeps track of Pokemon obtainable in the game, not all 1000+, with a focus on the ones attainable in the room they let you into) -Despite the large winter coat, they hate overheating... yet they still wear it like a cape even in the summers because the lack of pockets would be more annoying than the heat. They'd be more comfortable at north or south pole than at the equator, partly because of the coat, but partly just by nature.
Art, Outfit, Team, and Lore all WIP, but half finished is good enough I'm not *super* attached to the name if its too odd, (I'd compromise at "Rexa" or "Trix(ie)" for example) 'cause everyone else (except Eury) has pretty normal names (as I know "normal" names at least) and idk how to, like, name characters for one, and 2, how to make a pun and a gender neutral name without just going "Bam, letters so rare NO ONE will have any idea what kinda name this is if I use them" The pun. is rex. because dragon types, and t. rex, and also its "king" in latin... and dragon type is one of the rarest types and tough, so only the "kings" of trainers can specialize for them...? Also yes I did get lazy and not even try with the pants, but texture the coat with extensive detail. I had an IRL model for the coat I wanted to recreate, so I could have made even more details, but the pants I had no idea what I wanted so I left it blank
