Unlike others, I like to rank monsters based on how well they play their role in the full song rather than how much they add or how cool they sound. My overall score of the island's potential usage is an A (Keep in mind it's a very low A). P = Perfect S = Close to perfection A = Amazing B = Good C = Unnecessary/Missed Potential D = Starts to Ruin the Song F = Absolutely Horrible
I think the song itself is pretty cool, but still has a lot of problems in my opinion. I mean absolutely no offense to Tom Meikle (the composer of Mech Islet), but Celestyn really knew what he was doing when composing Plasma Islet. (In my own opinion) Mech Islet feels like it's trying to be dark and edgy-which it does accomplish to a certain extent-but also sounds like it's trying too hard.
