i made these ocs for a world where people with trauma develop (most often physical) traits related to their trauma. (ex. rui has demonic features due to his trauma being religious and his parents regarding him as possessed by the devil himself) - now for the actual ocs :3 rui kashihara 18 cis guy || he/they || gay his backstory: ( tw: mentions of abvse) he was raised in a heavily religious household. when he was young, he contracted an illness that worsened over time. his parents, believing it was the work of the devil, didn't take him to a hospital and tried to exorcise him. he was promptly b3at and disowned when he was caught sneaking out to a hospital and spoke out against religion as a whole. | extra: - his trait is demonic features (horns + a tail) - him and oliver are boyfriends - his voice claim is chuuya nakahara from bsd (eng. dub) 2- oliver auguste 18 cis guy || he/him || bisexual his backstory: (tw: mentions of drvg use, neglect, and physical abvse) olivers parents were military and always away, which lead to him being neglected by them. eventually, he was taken in by his aunt, although it wasn't that much better. she was physically abvsive and h1t him on several occasions. to combat his feelings of loneliness and the emptiness he delt with, he got hooked on (substances). he believed that if he overloaded himself with (substances), then maybe he wouldn't have to feel anything at all. after nearly OD'ing, he was forced to get off of (you know by now). | extra: - his trait is a theatre mask appearing over his face whenever he feels extremely sad or overwhelmed - his voice claim is dazai osamu from bsd (eng. dub) 3- mykolai morov 18 nonbinary || they/them || unlabeled (might change) their backstory: (tw: physical abvse and offing yourself) they were in an extremely controlling household, where their movements and actions were controlled and practically scripted by their mother. mykolai's dad was out of the picture, having divorced their mother for the controlling behavior. if mykolai spoke out of line or didn't do what their mother wanted they would be punished. this lead to them being obsessed with freedom. on their fifteenth birthday, they rebelled against their mother's control for once. they stayed out late with their friends, finally free from the control of their mother, at least for a bit. however, when they returned, their mother promptly punished them. this drove mykolai nearly to the point of (sewicide). they were only alive because they convinced themself that they would flee soon. and they did. they fled ukraine the very next day and didn't look back. | extra: - their trait is dove wings - their voice claim is near from death note - they were based off nikolai gogol from bsd!! their looks, nationality, motivations, etc :3 [note for ppl I'm rping with : I can age them up for the rp if you want me to, this is just their original ages!]
