1: What story will you be using to answer these questions? How would you quickly describe the storyline? Summary? We got a 21-year-old demon named Signal, born from two overlords, who notices their crazy capitalism and decides to do something about it by starting his own company and protesting! He finds love once he gets his first few employees, a VERY GAY squid demon named Fitz. He turns back to his stubborn and neglectful dad Vox, trying to teach him the importance of fairness... And he attempts to reconnect Vox with Alastor, who divorced him. 2: What inspired your story? h@zbin H0tel dont judge 3: Does it take place on Earth or in a made up land? In what time? H-E- double hockey sticks- in Pentagram City! I'm still working on the time, but it does take place around modern Earth Days. 4: What’s a favorite place in your story and the events that happen there? My favorite place is Signal's cozy little penthouse in Media Tower. It's where Signal and Fitz do most of their cuddling. 5: Who is your protagonist? What is their mission? Signal! Signal tries to limit the amount of scamming and capitalism goin' on down there lol. He's also got a mission to improve his own self-esteem (it's pretty low) for Fitz's sake. 6: Who is the most underrated character in your story and why? I think Val would be pretty underrated in this because (everyone hates him anyway) he doesn't have a really big part in the story. Think again, he does! His little ship with Vox is one of the reasons Vox sorta... forgot about Signal. 7: What two characters have the most interesting relationship (good or bad)? Alastor and Vox. Complicated and sad. Boom. 8: What are the conflicts of the story? Do you have villains? Vox could be considered an... antihero? He still cares for Signal, it's just difficult for the man to express it because he sucks at emotions. Arctic's (fitz's boss) is a villain 9: Which character is the most misunderstood? Fitz. He is in a criminal organization, and he may flirt relentlessly, but that doesn't make him a complete monster 10: Is there a character the most like you (or even based off you)? What qualities do you share? Signal is based off me. We've both got depression, sensory issues, and a love for tight and cozy spaces. We're like cats. 11: Is there an animal sidekick? Animal sidekick? Uhhh... no? 12: Who or what acts as the comedic relief? Fitz is very hilarious in his own right (usually making unconventional jokes during dire fights with his gang) and can make Signal laugh. 13: What is the underlying message or moral of the story? CAPITALISM CAN BE BAD, FAIRNESS IS EASIER TO ACHIEVE WITH TEAMWORK, AND TRUST/HONESTY IS THE HEART OF GOOD RELATIONSHIPS. 14: What are some symbols or hidden meanings you have placed? Most of these were already in Hazbin but... Only one of Vox's eyes is hypnotic... he doesn't want you to see both sides of the picture. Signal being a workaholic represents the endless work people have to go through to make change. Fitz's full demon form (a kraken) features a mandala behind his head, reminiscent of his heritage. 15: What genre would you consider your story? Hmm... DRAMA. 16: What type of media is your story (book, animation, movie, play, etc)? It's in development but I might turn it into a fan animation if I learn how to animate better. But for now, it's a series of little stories pieced together in writing and comics, the remainder being in my head. 17: What’s a song that matches an event or character in your story? I believe a lot of the songs I have used in my previous animation memes fit well. Too Sweet by Hozier could be a cute little Signal x Fitz thing. I've also been writing my own songs for the story! 18: Is it a cast of people, animals, or both? Demons. 19: What’s something funny or ridiculous that happens? Signal can retract his wide antlers to walk through doorways or lay in bed. One time, he was in the middle of a doorway, Fitz jumped out and scared him, and his antlers came out and got him stuck in the doorway 20: What’s the biggest obstacle your protagonist must overcome? The judgement of other overlords... or his crazy daddy issues. 21: Does anyone die? How does it change things? I don't know if any deaths will be canon yet. 22: Which character would you choose to be your friend? Who would you not get along with? I would probably get along with Fitz/Signal, we are basically the same person. I love Vox, but I think he'd find me annoying. 23: If any, what weapons are used? Lots of angelic weapons, the majority crafted by Fitz's crime boss, Arctic. Fitz has an angelic pistol and switchblade. Signal has his cane, which holds supernatural properties 24: How does your story differ now from when you first started making it? Character designs! Also Signal used to be more ruthless once he was an Overlord but now he's just as nice. 25: What’s something interesting about your story that wasn’t asked about here? SECONDARY CHARACTERS
