When I started my YouTube channel in March, I didn't really know what to do with it. I decided to make Animal Jam videos, because, why not? Now, five months later, I've got one thousand subscribers. Back in March, I would have preferred to reach one thousand Scratch followers, and YouTube wasn't really important to me. It was just making use of the Turtle Beach headphones that I'd gotten for Christmas. Now, I use Scratch as a way to reach out to Animal Jam players who don't have YouTube. I've realized that I need to do more to help out this community. Right now, there's not much drama going on as far as I can tell. But just like the Animal Jam community, drama is always around the corner. I don't want to continue using Scratch as a second Instagram, only posting pictures. I want to make a difference in this community. Scratch will probably never again be as important to me as YouTube is, but I'm going to do a better job of using it. I'll try to share at least two projects a week, the same as my video goal on YouTube of two videos a week. (You might see an extra this week though!) Scratch doesn't really take expensive equipment. You don't necessarily need a drawing tablet for it, though it helps for some Scratchers to use one. YouTube, however, requires time and money. I've bought a Blue Yeti microphone and $200 editing software. I'm going to be focusing more on YouTube than Scratch, but Scratch won't be forgotten. Thank you all so much for a wonderful time on Scratch and YouTube. I don't plan on quitting either of them anytime soon.
