This project attempt to reproduce the "boids" algorithm with Scratch. ⚠ The generated movements may not be perfect but I tried to make the animation as smooth as possible ----------------------------- In cinema, the Boids algorithm is often used to simulate realistic crowd movement. Developed by Craig Reynolds, it models individuals (aka "boids", a mix of "birds" and "oids") represented by triangles and following three simple rules: separation, alignment, and cohesion. These rules help animate large groups, like, zombies, army or panicked crowds, without scripting each character. The natural-looking flow adds believability to complex scenes in animated or live-action films. Studios use this technique to create dynamic, lifelike behavior with minimal manual control.
