Chapter 2 Joker “We sure showed Mr. Donut!” I said with a giggle. This was my favorite thing to do in this place, besides sneaking out to get some coffee. Coffee oh how I LOVE coffee. The Queen of Hearts told me that I have LOTS of energy, even though I never sleep. “So are you coming?” I asked the Queen with a bit of a giggle. “Yes, I am, Joker, and you need to be more careful with what you are doing,” the Queen said, standing up off the bed. She is the oldest out of our group, and boy, is she good at it. She was mixed with velociraptor DNA and has scales! But she was made to be a super soldier and has bulletproof skin. The mind control doesn’t work on her, and she has weak mind control. She is very mature and calm, unlike me. I was made to be a super speedy spy to help the queen of hearts do her job. But I had way too much energy and was called a “failure”. “You can’t keep on messing with everyone who comes to our cells,” she told me. But I am “forced” to stay in a cell, though it can’t keep me in, but I act like it does because it makes Mr. Donut feel powerful! “But are you coming?” Ace asked her, she tried to keep the anger out of her voice but failed. “Yes, I am, grumpy pants,” I told her with a smile and then ran off into Spade’s and the Queen’s room. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE JOKER?” Spade said with a startled tone in her voice. Spade was made after me but she was still taller than me, she was mixed with an axolotl and was made to heal others. But the only way that she can use her power is by cutting off her own limbs, but thank the lord that she can regenerate her own body or else she would be in bad shape. “I came to tell you guys to come to the mess hall,” I told her and then grabbed her and the queen of hearts and ran out of the cell and let go.And I could tell that spades was not happy so I ran away and to the mess hall. The mess hall, a room with old benches and was made of bricks,was one of the rooms we had to go in so the workers could get in position to make sure no one goes in, or out. But I have no clue how this room couldn’t keep any of us in, I mean it is just an old room with no use. “I bet you I could run out of this room and take someone’s phone!what do you think?” I asked the group sarcastically. Of course I would never think of really doing that. I was making a joke to the security cameras to make Mr.Donut come back and yell at me like he always does. “DON’T make a joke like that joker,” the queen of hearts told me in that scary voice she uses when she is mad but I heard Ace let out a quiet laugh,But then a booming voice came from a speaker under one of the cameras. “YOU MAY ALL GO BACK TO YOUR CELLS, PROJECTS 1,2,3,AND 4. REMEMBER WE ARE ALWAYS WATCHING,” and just like that the voice cracked and stopped. Great, now it is time to go back to our boring life of living in a cell. But that does not mean that I can’t make a bit of mischief!
