So, I am indeed continuing this after all those months (which I am so, so sorry about. I was just really busy with irl stuff) Here you are: After the mission, part three: (- ANYA'S POV - ) As I slowly open my eyes, I find myself in a strange room with Mama lying beside me, her face pale and still. A faint whisper echoes in my mind, "Mama... Papa...?" Urgently, I glanced around to find Papa a few feet ahead, tied to a chair. He seemed unconscious, but his thoughts were going crazy: ("how did Yor and Anya get mixed up in this?! Didn't they say they'd leave them alone?! Well, what do I expect from people like this?") Mama squirmed from beside me, and her eyes fluttered open. "Oh, my head..." Her gaze suddenly shifted to me. "Anya?! Oh, Anya, are you alright? They didn't hurt you, did they?" ("Oh, Yor and Anya are awake") Papa's thoughts caught my attention, and I turned my head towards Mama, "Mama, how do we get out of here?" Loid's eyes scanned the dimly lit warehouse, his mind racing for an escape plan. He subtly maneuvered his hand into his suit pocket, his fingers closing around a small pocket knife he had hidden there. With a swift motion, he opened the blade and carefully cut through the ropes binding his wrists. As the guards approached, Loid quickly hid the knife and pretended to still be restrained. Yor, sensing his movement, played along, feigning helplessness. And then, Loid made his move, using the knife to cut through the restraints binding Yor and Anya. Loid and Yor fought their way out of the warehouse, taking down the guards one by one. Once they were outside, they made their way back home, exhausted but relieved to be safe. As the evening drew to a close, Yor brushed her arm off and glanced at Anya. "You ready for bed? Phew, the day has been long. By the way, Loid, what did those guys want with you? It's so strange..." Loid smiled and said, "I don't know, Yor. They showed up out of the blue...it IS strange." Anya thought to herself, "Papa's a liar." Anya tugged at Yor's sleeve and rubbed her eyes, pointing to her bedroom. Yor lifted Anya up and carried her to bed. A few minutes later, she came out and closed the door shut. Loid was still standing in the living room, going through a schedule book, when a knock arose from the door. "I'll get it!" Yor and Loid called in unison, followed by an awkward silence. "Um, why don't you get it, Loid? I'm going to get ready for bed," Yor suggested. Loid smiled and nodded. "Good night." Yor returned a smile. "Yes, good night." Loid reached for the door and opened it to reveal Franky. "Franky? What are you doing here?" Franky said, "You two have never really gone on any dates, have you? Why don't you go on one?" Just then, Yuri appeared behind Franky, his expression disapproving. " Loi-Loi! You two are really that distant? I don't believe it," Yuri said, cutting Loid off. Yor stuttered, "D-D-D-Date? M-Me and L-Loid? Uh..W-We couldn't possibly..." Loid backed her up. "We're way to busy for that." Franky offered to watch Anya. "Nope." Loid smiled. Franky's eyes read, "But, Twilight, its for the mission. You know it is." So, Sighing, Loid agreed. "We'll do it. (For the mission)." Yor jolted beside him, surprised. "W-W-W-What?! B-B-B-But, Loid...." Loid whispered to Yor, "Come on now, Yor, we have to seem like we love each other..." Yor nodded slowly. "O-ok...Fine.." Yuri's disapproval was evident. "Loi-Loi, what did you whisper to my sister?!" Yor tried calming Yuri down, explaining Anya was asleep and might awaken, because of him. So Yuri stopped his screaming, and called out to Loid: "This isn't over," he said, before turning to leave. Franky threw his fists in the air, "Yes! I'll set it up!" The door closed behind them, leaving Yor and Loid alone. They stared at the door for a moment, quiet seeping into the room. Then Yor turned to face Loid, becoming flustered again. "A date..." Loid smiled and turned. "We should head to bed. Tomorrow will be fun." And so, the home fell into a quiet silence. And all was well... Or was it? Hidden in the darkest area of the home, lurked the troubles they had fought away earlier in the day. The darkest happening to be... The room of a small child with pink hair. Who at the moment, happened to be sleeping peacefully, oblivious of the person sneaking towards her. Oblivious of that very person lifting her into his arms. A wicked grin spread across his face as he snuck from the house, child in his arms The end! :) Sneak peak for part four!: (-Yor's point of view-) Yor yawned as she stepped out of bed. Her feet tiptoed across the floor as she opened the door to Anya's room. "Anya? You awake? Listen, Loid and I..." Her voice trailed off as she discovered an empty bed. "Huh...Franky must've already picked her up..." She closed the door and smiled softly as she stepped into the kitchen ------
