So, for some context, the troodon was a very smart dino that had been invalid for eight years- EIGHT YEARS?!?… ANYYY WAYS, it was a pretty controversial dino, with a controversial genus of the same name. This is because… they only hade A FREAKING TOOTH AND MADE A WHOLE NEW GENUS BECAUSE OF IT- and they split the troodon into three dinosaurs… for some reason… the closest to the troodon being the stenonychosaurus. Apparently they’re considering making a neotype for the troodon because the troodon is the senior name and… yeah, I literally don’t know anything. My brain ain’t developed enough to know the details, and feel free to do your own research and/or put a more thorough explanation in the comments. Anyways HERE’S MY DRAWING OF DA TROODON :3! I draw the troodon HEAVILY similar to its design from Dino Dana/the Dino Dan franchise thingy, because I found out about the troodon, the smortest dinosaur, from that. You might be more familiar to the conductor from the Dinosaur Train, who is a troodon… ALL ABOOOAAARD!!! But why does this matter to me so much? BECAUSE THE TROODON IS MY FAVORITE DINOSAUR (you can kinda tell by the title). I KID YOU NOT, I LITERALLY CRIED IN BED WHEN I FOUND OUT THE TROODON WAS INVALID- I was in elementary so I was still kinda dumb, lol- BUT WHEN I LEARNED THAT THERE WAS A SMALL CHANCE IT COULD BE VALID AGAIN, I WAS GIGGLING AND KICKING MY FEET- I knooow it’s not much of a big deal… BUT I JUST LOVE THIS DINOSAUR MAN!.. and I think it might be one of the reasons how I became a furry… I have evidence of me anthropomorphizing troodon when I was younger, and I have a feeling I did that multiple times… So yeah, that’s it, that’s all I have to yap about.
