I have the strong urge to go towards it, but I resist. In every book I have read there is always someone who goes missing when they find something like that. "Francis? Why are you leaving!" The twinkly voice says again. I turn around to face the light and I say, "It's getting late and I need to find my brother before night time." I stay there waiting for a response. I'm shaking, but only a little bit. "I said, COME PLAY WITH ME!" The once twinkly voice that was already creepy enough had turned angry. It seemed as it was a lost soul just wanting to do one thing in their life. Almost at once it started to get windy, and my cardigan flowed with the wind. But it didn't feel like wind, it felt like breathing. "I have to go. I'm in a hurry." I say while walking away. "I will find you Francis, that's my last warning." The faint teal glow states as it slowly fades away. As I turn around I start to wonder if this is real, a 14 year old wandering alone in the woods. At night. But I don't ponder on that topic for a while because I need to focus on where i'm sleeping. I search around for a place to rest until I settle upon a little cave that looks desolate. I sit down against a rock and look out at the night sky. "It's all so pretty, the stars and everything." I whisper looking dazed. I stand up gathering sticks to burn for a fire, hoping that I could get some light and warmth. Once I found enough I came back to the cave and pulled a match out of my satchel bag. They always come in handy whenever i'm in a situation like this. Once the fire is lit I lay down and think, "This isn't so bad, being out here all alone in the silence where it's just you and your thoughts." I slowly drift asleep peacefully hoping my brother is okay. At sometime in the night I hear a squawk and a chirp. They both sounded miraculous but they didn't sound real. When the sun rises I wake up and crack my back. The rock wasn't comfortable but it worked. I look outside the cave and I see a young boy, he looks all burnt and his hair is all frizzy. He doesn't have any shoes on and there's dirt all over his body. He's wearing a ripped tank top and his shorts have holes in them. Before I get to say anything he comes sprinting at me with his wooden club and swings.
