Lore In March 1938, the Empire of Japan signed a truce with China after one of the largest wars in the history of that RP — the Second Sino-Japanese War. The decision to end hostilities was forced by the Allies, who issued an ultimatum to Japan: end the war with China or we will start a war with you. Shortly thereafter, the collapse of Great Britain led to the outbreak of a new conflict — this time between France, Portugal, Italy and England. In 1939, England was defeated and lost a significant part of its colonies. As a result, countries such as Free Nigeria, Free East Africa and Free Sudan declared their independence. In January 1940, the League of Nations announced its dissolution. In August of the same year, the United States joined the Allied alliance. Great Britain underwent a reorganisation and adopted a new name: Great England. In 1941, North and South Germany, after being divided and excluded from the Axis, plunged into a deep economic crisis. The German mark lost all its value. Meanwhile, the Bengal-India Free State (BIFS) developed dynamically, becoming the main exporter of grain in Asia, which led to a significant decrease in unemployment in the region. In 1942, Japan, together with Italy, began to rebuild its position. A year later, both countries provided military support to Hungary, which invaded Slovakia and annexed Transylvania.
