A: I have actually finished a short story a while ago and I’m currently writing a novel that I plan on continuing Q3: First person POV, second person POV, or third person POV? A: I like first and third person (I usually write in 1st person but I find myself writing in 3rd person a lot more now) Q4: Do you have a favourite author? If so, who? A: Rick Riordan Q5: Do you want to be a writer when you're older? A: Yesssss!! Q6: Do you have any advice for writers? If so, what is it? A: While writing, try planning how you want your story to go before starting a draft. Q7: When it comes to writing, are you a perfectionist? A: Ha! No one is dawling <3 Q8: Have you shared a story on scratch before? A: I had a short story but later took it down bc I didn’t really like it Q9: What's your favourite plot structure? (7 point plot structure, hero's journey plot structure, etc) A: wat. idk Q10: What's your inspiration? A: I sometimes take inspiration from some of my favorite books but mostly ideas that form in my head Q11: Do you like making graphic novels/comics? A: I can’t draw. No Q12: Poetry, or story writing? A: I really enjoy both! Q13: Fiction or non-fiction? A: 100% fiction Q14: What's your favorite book/series? A: all of the riordanverse books, a court of thorns and roses, and throne of glass Q15: Do you believe in writers block? A: yes Q16: What about reader's block? A: yes. I actually had this recently Q17: Do you like putting references in your stories? (references to other books, a movie, songs, etc) A: sometimes (I have like 3 pjo references in my book but it’s mostly a couple of names) Q18: Do you like writing chapter books? A: that’s pretty much all I write Q19: Realistic fiction or unrealistic fiction? A: hmmmmmm… both Q20: Have you ever written a character based on someone in real life? A: ehhh kinda…? Q21: Do you give MBTI personality types to your characters? A: what even is this Q22: Writing in a notebook or writing on google docs? A: I use google docs but my novel started in a notebook Q23: What do you think is the best thing for someone to do when they get writers block? A: i usually listen to music and look over my notes Q24: When did you realize you wanted to be a writer? A: that’s hard to pinpoint for me Q25: Do you have a lot of OCs? A: ummmm I may have an addiction to creating demigod ocs… Q26: Do you have a lot of stories you are writing? A: yes but I’ve given up on most of them Q27: What's the most difficult part of planning a story? A: probably putting my ideas into words Q28: Do you do journaling? A: not really Q29: Do you write in one specific way/theme, or lots of different ways/themes? e.g. fantasy, third person, non-fiction, first person, second person, fiction, etc A: I usually write fantasy and realistic fiction but I always flip flop between first and third person Q30: Do you find it hard to write the first chapter/ prologue? A: I usually only start writing when I have an idea of the prologue and/or first chapter Q31: Have you drawn your characters before? A: nope. I always ask my friends or my sister to do it for me Q32: Have you roleplayed with your characters before? A: yes Q33: Do you think you take way too long planning what to write instead of actually writing? A: I usually only start writing once I have an idea Q34: What's your favourite part when editing? A: sharing it with others and reading my work myself Q35: What's your least favourite part when editing? A: idk Q36: How long have you been writing? A: a long time Q37: Have you tried writing in a new way before? A: tried and didn’t like it Q38: What, in your opinion, is the most fun theme to write about? (not genre. A theme is like war, coming of age, good vs evil, family, etc) A: ooooooh idk coming of age usually Q39: Have you written characters with sad backstories? A: another problem I have… giving my main characters sad backstories Q40: Have you ever written yourself in a story? A: no nor do I plan on it anytime soon Q41: Do you usually unintentionally make a side character more interesting than a main character? A: not usually Q42: Have you ever written a character as something other than a human? A: no. I always write better with people Q43: Have you ever written the main character as the villain before? A: not but it seems interesting to me Q44: What's your favourite things to put in stories? (things you personally find entertaining to read/write) A: I like finding romance in books Q45: Have you written romance before? A: my novel is a fantasy with lots of romance drama in it so I guess?
