The Imperial Kingdom of Noir, observing signals and flashes of light that could only be made by intelligent life, send a transmission of their own into the cosmos towards these assumed aliens. It reads: “We are the Imperial Kingdom of Noir, and we have seen evidence of you, unknown creatures. We would like to meet you, and discover the wonders of this universe together. Our leader, honorable King Nikolas the First, would like to meet you and converse together with your own leader. We would also like to share with you the wonders of the Noir. Long live the Noir, and let our friendship last forever.” The message was sent in all languages we know. Noirian should be translatable relatively easily, as it is similar to both English and French in its sounds, but is written completely differently. It is sent using small drones that emit signals as they travel in and out of FTL travel.
