Some things I enjoy are drawing, writing, and theater. I'm in the Warrior Cats, Wings of Fire, Percy Jackson, and Miraculous Ladybug fandoms! My favorite Warriors character is Bluestar <3. My favorite movie is Fantastic Mr. Fox, my favorite show is Glee, and my favorite color is green. I am an avid roleplayer, and I often log on to this website called World of Olympians. It is a Percy Jackson roleplaying site, and I am a very active member. I have three jobs on WoO and WoO eu (author, instructor, and assistant instructor,) and I'd like to say I am very active, as I log on there every day. ★> Kit you're applying for, and why I am applying for Obsidiankit because I think that the idea of having an inter-clan family is really interesting. I think it could cause some conflicts between the family if there were ever to be any sort of conflict between the two clans, and that concept is very interesting to explore. Anyways, Obsidiankit has a really cool design, and I want to explore his character! ✩> Personality of the kit (Simplified + Detailed) at least three pos, three neg, and a couple neutral, try keep them even too. Simplified: Obsidiankit is moody, sarcastic, and a bit rude. His good traits are being deep-thoughted, imaginative, and caring to those who get close to him. Some neutral traits are him being protective and mature (being mature is neutral because it causes him to think he's too "old" for certain things.) Detailed: Obsidiankit is tied between two versions of himself. The first is an imaginative boy who loves to make silly stories, admire nature, and be wildly obsessed with the things he cares about. The second is a sarcastic, moody teen on the verge of a crashout because he's "too cool" to play mossball. He will not participate in his father's silly antics, but somehow Craneswoop will force him into doing stuff. Obsidiankit likes sitting in dark places and imagining fantastical stories of heroes and villains, and he'll often draw them in the dirt. Obsidiankit is extremely protective of his siblings, and will look at you like you're a bug who needs to be exterminated until proven worthy if you try to get within a 50 mile radius of them. Underneath all the sass and moodiness, Obsidiankit is genuinely scared of being seen as uncool and childish, and that's why he acts this way. If you somehow manage to break open his shell, you'll find he has hyperfixations and loves to open up about them. ★> Future gender, pronouns, orientation, ect, of the kit He is male, he/him pronouns, and he will be bisexual ✩> Research (In your own words) After seeing Obsidiankit's design, I knew exactly why he was sterile. Tortie males are often caused by them having an extra X chromosome, which means he has Klinefelter's syndrome, which is a condition in which males will be born with an extra X chromosome. This means Obsidian has XXY chromosomes, which causes his tortie pattern, and also causes his infertility. I assume that Obsidian will not find out his infertility until if/when he tries for kits. I think this won't affect him too much after the first initial shock, because he probably thinks of himself as a cool uncle rather than a father anyways. I think he'd also get a bit teased for being one of the only male torties, which would fuel the fire of "I wanna fit in" even more. None! ✩> Future plans for the character (If you have any) I would try to make Obsidian a medic, because I think that his imagination and empathy make him a great contender. He probably daydreamed as a kit, and liked to stay in the medicine cat den to avoid getting bothered. As a result of all his time in the den, he became familiar with the herbs. To any other cat, he looked like a weird kit who murmured to himself suspiciously in the corner, his paws flying across the dusty floor. To Obsidiankit, he was figuring out lore and captivating scenes for his newest story that he titled "Briar and Hawk." It was about two sisters who had two different powers. The first sister, Briarpaw, had the power to shapeshift into different animals. The second sister, Hawkpaw, could run at insane speeds and had heightened senses. Together, they were up against an evil leader called Sharpenedstar who was trying to destroy their clan. Obsidiankit's claws flew over the dusty ground, drawing intricate scenes of Briarpaw transforming, Hawkpaw running, and Sharpenedstar looking menacing. It was a rhythm of think, draw, erase, repeat. Obsidiankit had a small smile on his face, thinking that his story was peak fiction. It was a rare thing to see Obsidiankit smiling, and it wasn't seen by most cats. Obsidiankit was truly happy and showing it, which would be a rare thing to see in his years to come. ✩> Both codeword's, hidden well in a sentence No, I will never eat ice cream as I am lactose intolerant. :,)
