The good Shepherd lays down his/her life for his/her sheep. A shepherd is a person who tends and rears sheep. Shepherding is one of the hardest jobs. In other kinds of work, you work for so and so number of hours then you go home. In shepherding, you work every minute of every day and night, then when you sleep, you sleep outside of the floor. When you shepherding, you need to know which sheep you have. For example, churro sheep are hardy and can adapt to the environment, but the wool isn’t good for clothes because its so coarse, but they have good mutton. Although rambouillet sheep (also known as the whiteface sheep) have good wool for making clothes. Mother sheep know the scent of their lamb, so when they die, sometimes you have to skin the dead lamb and put the skin of the dead lamb on another to fool the mother sheep. God gave some sheep a homing instinct, a homing instinct helps sheep remember the way home.
