“That was weird.” Crystalheart says. “Whatever they said isn’t important to us right now. The gathering is tomorrow and they can tell us what they need to and what they want to.” Lightstar says. “Whether it be what that patrol was saying or not.” Talonheart puts in. “You set them all on hunting patrols right?” Lightstar asked Talonheart. “Yes, and they all went with someone who disagreed with them so they won’t get any ideas.” Talonheart replies to Lightstar. “There will be lots of prey then.” Lightstar says. “True.” Crystalheart says. “Is that a good thing or a bad thing?” Icewing asked. “Good thing,” Talonheart replies. “They won’t be able to catch prey every time.” Lightstar says. “So we won’t run out.” Whitemist says. It seems to me personally that all the dragons we sent out is too much, even with all this space. Eventually, they came back, all together, they brought back twenty pieces of prey, plenty. “Well, good job everyone!” Eagleheart says. Everyone put down their pieces of prey in the prey pile. “Now, do you all understand not to worry about what another clan is saying?” Lightstar asked. “Yes, we’re so sorry about that.” Brightwing says. Lightstar bows her head. “It’s all fine now. Just, don’t do that again.” Lightstar says. “We won’t Lightstar.” Eagleheart says. How many times can they say sorry? They’ve said it so much! We understand that you are sorry, let's move on. “Crystalheart!” Icewing says. “What?” Crystalheart asks. “Are you hungry?” Icewing asks. “No, I’m fine, I don't need to eat.” Crystalheart replies. “Okay.” Icewing says, going to eat. I need to think about things, sleep perhaps, yeah, I’ll go and sleep. Crystalheart curled herself in her nest in the warriors den. She quickly fell asleep. “Hey, Crystalheart!” Roseheart said. “You're a Warrior now!” Roseheart said, running over to Crystalheart. “Yeah, I am.” Crystalheart replied. “Can you tell me more now?” She asked Roseheart. “Yes.” Roseheart answered. “You will be a leader, but not of one clan, of all. You’ll live on your own but help all of the clans.” Roseheart says. “In a couple of moons.” She says. “Really?” Crystalheart asked. “Yes, really.” Roseheart answered. “Wow…” Crystalheart thought for a moment. I’m going to be a leader, but not of one clan but a leader of all. Four clans, one leader in each and one that helps all? In a couple of moons? Things are happening too quickly. “Is there anyone else around here that I can talk to?” Crystalheart asked. “I come to you Crystalheart, no one else is here at the moment.” Roseheart answers. “Anything else you need to say to me?” Crystalheart asks. “Well…I don’t need to say anymore. So, no.” Roseheart answers. Roseheart fades leaving Crystalheart alone. As she woke up, she felt Icewing on top of her, shaking her. “Wake up already!” Icewing said to Crystalheart. “I’m getting up....Great stars, you're inpatient!” Crystalheart says. She stretches before looking at Icewing. “Well, great stars, you're tired! Sorry for waking you up, but it’s time for the gathering!” Icewing says, rushed. “Oh! I forgot!” Crystalheart says. “Come on!” Icewing says. They both rushed outside of the camp. “Thank you Icewing for waking her. Let’s go!” Lightstar says, beginning to walk. Once they got there, Waterclan was there. “Looks like you second!” Sky says. “Oh, did you go get your ten lives?” Lightstar asked. “Yes, I believe all the leaders did.” Sky says. “So, I’m Skystar now.” Skystar says. “Are we late?” Blossomstar asked. “No, not at all. Now we’re waiting on Iceclan.” Lightstar says. “They weren’t far behind me, they should be here soon.” Blossomstar said. “We’re here!” Rainstar says, running in. “Great, we’re all here.” Lightstar says. All the leaders hop on top of The Great Tree and nod to each other. “May the gathering begin!” Lightstar says. “Who wants to go first?” Skystar asked. “Well…why not you, Lightstar.” Blossomstar says kindly. “Thank you Blossomstar, I shall go first then.” Lightstar says. Everyone who attended the gathering sat, waiting. “We’ve been well. Plenty of prey and no sickness.” Lightstar says. She bows her head politely singling for another leader to go. “I can go next.” Skystar says. “Sure.” Rainstar and Blossomstar say. “We’ve been well, one of our warriors is expecting dragonets. Prey has been plentiful, and there has been no sickness.” Skystar says. Bowing her head and stepping back to where Lightstar is. Rainstar bowed her head at Blossomstar for her to go next. “Prey has been plentiful, no sickness, and no new dragons yet.” Blossomstar says, bowing her head. “Nothing bad has happened, plenty of prey, and no sick dragons.” Rainstar says. “May everyone chat amongst each other!” Lightstar says. *Chatter Chatter* “I heard that Crystalheart is going to be a leader.” Lightstar says. “What do you mean?” Rainstar asked. “Well, she’s going to be leader of all clans, all four clans.” Lightstar says. “How?” Skystar asked...
“Every clan will have a leader and she’ll live here where we gather, in that den, and be the Great Leader, the leader of all clans.” Lightstar says. “Will she become leader now?” Blossomstar asked, confused. “Yes, well, whenever Mountain Full of Stars says so.” Lightstar answers her. “Crystalheart!” Roseheart whispered from somewhere. “Where are you?” Crystalheart asked. “No need to worry about that. You see that rock den over there? Go in, become the Great Leader, trust me.” Roseheart said. Crystalheart walked in to see a puddle of water. Would it be like the Crystal? Just, go to sleep here? “Roseheart! What do I do now?” She asked but Roseheart already went away. She decided to go to sleep. Am I going to get my ten lives? “There you are Crystalheart. You aren’t going to get ten lives, you're going to live forever.” Roseheart said. Wait, live forever?!
