June 9th, 2025 Dear Diary, okay—today started off like a dream. Luca actually brought me a pineapple smoothie (my fave, obviously) and we talked forever by the water. He’s so sweet and funny and has this little smile that makes my stomach do flips. He even said he liked my sunglasses (!!!). And just when I thought maybe he was about to kiss me… BOOM. Jenny shows up, wearing this way-too-extra red bikini like she thinks she’s famous or something. She acted “shocked” to see us but totally sat down right next to us anyway. I swear, she kept snapping photos on her phone like she was collecting evidence or something. Then it got worse. When Luca went to get more smoothies, she scooted over, leaned in like we were besties, and whispered, “Enjoy it while it lasts.” That was it. Just that. With this fake sweet smile like she hadn’t just dropped a warning bomb in my lap. What does she even mean?! Is she planning something? Is she jealous? I know she likes Luca too, but seriously? Trying to ruin my beach day? And then, like the cherry on this messed-up sundae, Aria texted me just now. She said: “Bailey… you need to see what Jenny just posted.” No picture. No explanation. Just that one message. My hands are literally shaking. I haven’t opened anything yet, but my brain is spiraling. What if it’s a pic of me and Luca looking weird? What if she twisted something to make me look bad? I don’t know if I can handle this tonight. But if I don’t check soon… everyone else will.
