It was early in the morning, June woke up as bright as the sun. Cheerful, happy, positive, and ready to start the day. Her mom came to tell her, "Good morning". June replied back, with a nice smile, "Good morning, Mom". Her mom soon left to make breakfast. During June's morning routine, she heard a voice that disturbed her, ruined her mood a bit, and it didn't make her comfortable. Could it have been the sound... of her own voice? While eating breakfast, June realized something on the calender. Something that she wished... didn't exist. It was Picture Day at her school today. She told her family, and her Mom told her and her siblings to change into something fancier, but June said, "I think my outfit's fine" in a weird tone. Her Mom just nodded. June's younger sister, Janette, wore a nice bright yellow dress, with pearls at the waist, and a white flower for the hair. June's twin sister, July, wore a casual soft pink dress, with a nice decent beige hat, and a lighter pink jacket. June's older brother, Jamal, wore a normal grey shirt with jeans and a red + gray cap. Now, it was time for school. At school, June was nervous, anxious, and didn't even try to hide it. She was staring at the clock, wishing the time for Picture Day never came. Her classmates, friends, and teacher started to get worried as her mind wandered and wasn't focused on school. But guess what happened next? The class went silent as they heard the school speaker say, "5th Grade, please head down for Picture Day. I repeat, 5th Grade, please head down for Picture Day.". Everything was screaming and shouting and jumping even squealing in joy. Well, everyone except June, of course. They waited in line, all excited. June watched their huge smiles during the picture, she just watched them in silence, wishing that what happened last year never happened, that she could still enjoy Picture Day. Suddenly, her belly ached. She felt dizzy. She suddenly got tired. It was her turn, though. She took her picture. But the picture was horrible. She was holding her stomach, with the back of her hand on her forehead, and baggy eyes. As they were walking back, something happened. Something horrible. Something unforgettable. June fainted.
