“‘Morning”, said June to Jamal. Of course, his usual response would just be a side-eye, but today, he actually replied, “Good morning, how’d you sleep?”, a smile spread across his face. June was pleased, replying with a smile back, saying, “I slept good. What about you? How’d you sleep?”. June had always been loving towards her siblings, even if her siblings weren’t loving towards her. Jamal had this look on his face, a look that he was planning something. June didn’t notice, but was waiting for a reply. After a while, Jamal finally said something. “Good, good.”. June smiled and gave him a fist bump. After leaving the room, Jamal wiped the back of his hands on his shirt, rudely. Janette and July were nowhere to be seen, so June asked her Mom where they were. Her Mom replied, “They’re outside, waiting in the car. You should get ready so you’re not late.”. June was confused, because it was the weekend, so they didn’t have school, but she just went upstairs and got ready. While she was getting ready, she heard that voice again. She recognized that voice, so she ignored it. She ignored her own voice, but why? There’s actually a terrible reason why. Her voice, reminds her of every heartbreaking moment in her life. If she were to listen, she would be in mortal danger, pulling herself to doom. It’s a curse she had ever since she was a newborn baby. Her Mom called, “You ready, June?”, June quickly put on her socks and shoes and hurried downstairs, and ate breakfast in the car, since they were really late. June asked, “Where are we going?”. Her Mom winked. Janette was starting a conversation with June, a nice one. June was very confused. First, it was Jamal actually caring if she slept well, and then it’s Janette actually willing to talk to her. She just replied to everything Janette said, thinking that they were sorry. But what lies ahead of her, is unknown… They arrive at an arcade, but they tell June to close her eyes. “On the count of 3… 1…2….3! SURPRISE!!!!”. June stood there in amazement and shock, her Mom explaining that it was a gift for being good at school. Her siblings, gave her the biggest smile ever. It was too good to be true, but June thought it was true. At the arcade, they had a blast!! June won every single game, and even made her siblings a little jealous. July has been quiet all day, so June asks her why, and she says, “I just wanted you to have a peaceful day, and to celebrate in peace. So, I was quiet so I would bother you and ruin your day or anything.”. She couldn’t look June in the eye, so she was lying, but June fell for it. So, her reply was, “Aww, you don’t have to do that!!”, so July smiled and said, “Let’s go in that!”, and pointed to a Photo Booth. June smiled and said, “Of course! *giggles* Last one there is a rotten egg!!”, and off she went! June won, woo-hoo! July said, “Haha, no fair! Congrats, though!!”. June said, “Thanks, rotten egg!”, and they were laughing and laughing!! They called their other siblings over and they let June go in first. When she told them to come in, they started smiling. Not a nice smile, an evil, dark, and mischievous smile. July wasn’t smiling, but staring at her, in sorrow. After a while, July walked up to the door of the Photo Booth, and whispered, “I’m sorry.”. BOOM!!!!!!!!!
