Through the Night == Got a pocket full of dreams, Each one a spark. I pick randomly, Hoping one will come true. I wait for weeks, each day a decade, That wish for a good life, That wish to be loved, Where did you go? Left me, on my own? I can barely lift my head, While my world comes crashing down. And the universe doesn't care. My life went down a drain, each step a minute, You didn't care about me then, So why do I care about you now? Because you're family. My family. A glimmer in the sky, I can finally lift my head, And I see her, I see Hope. She gives me a guiding hand, And pulls me out of the dark. All her friends greet me with kindness, Leading me through the night. What is this world? All comfort and warmth, The evening glow, Enlightens my heart. Now I know what it's like to be happy; What it's like to laugh. And now all these moments I'll cherish forever, But I'll never forget my past, Walking through the night alone.
Ok, I gave you a hint of her sister's name! (No, it isn't Hope) Task two is a poem, tbh, I got a bit scared haha.. I'm not great at writing poems, cause I don't have a big vocab so.. This is mostly based on her backstory, and future predictions/thoughts of mine. ANYWAYS- enough yapping XD I really hope I can win at least one task this camp! Hope you enjoyed! -Aanya (P.S.
