Chapter 1 ————— Darkness plunged into the world as night began. Stars shone across the sky leaving some light. The moon high above all. Cricket cantered back to the house. Her brown fur synchronized the pattern of the wind. Her red collar tied around her neck that was way too tight. At least twolegs took it off at night. Her golden tag clanking against her pink nose.
