plot spoilers Nightflower is a Lostclan cat who fell in love with a loner named Star. She temporarily left the clan to be with him, and she eventually gave birth. Wishing for her child to be a part of a clan, but knowing that Lostclan will never accept the kit, she and Star goes in search for the clans that made them be callled Lostclan and not Fernclan. Nightflower worried that the Clans have been torn apart, but Star says that if so, they will look for another group for her. They find a stream and Flameclan scents, so they leaver her on a log on the stream. Heartbroken, Nightflower returns to Lostclan and eventuallly becomes an elder.
