Crystalheart stood there, shocked. “I’m going to live forever?” She asked. “Yes, are you okay with that?” Roseheart asked. “I…I’ll get used to it I guess, I’m okay with that.” Crystalheart said. “May you now be known as Crystalstar, the leader of all clans.” Roseheart said. “Thank you so much.” Crystalstar said. Bowing her head. “It isn’t just me who’s here this time.” Roseheart says. A few warriors came in, because even Forestclan had been created so recently, few have died and went to Mountain Full of Stars. Well, the few warriors were elders but, all who come here stay at the age they were when they were younger. “Congratulations Crystalstar.” Willowbreeze says. “You're here!” Crystalstar says. “Of course I am.” She replies. The others bowed their heads. “Time for you to go, Crystalstar.” Roseheart said. “Bye!” Crystalheart said as they all faded and she woke up. I hope I didn’t sleep for too long, I don’t want to freak out my clanmates, I better tell them I can’t go back to camp, this den is my den now. Hopefully they won’t freak out at that! She stretched and walked out to see the leaders chatting together and everyone else chatting with one another. Good, I’ll just tell the leaders then, I feel too young to be a Great leader but, here I am. “Hey, Lightstar!” Crystalstar said hopping up onto where only the leaders can be on, The Great Tree. “What is it, Crystalheart?” Lightstar asked. “I’m Crystalstar now, I heard Roseheart call my name to go into the den and I went to sleep and they all told me I’m The Great leader so my name is Crystalstar.” Crystalstar told them. “How?” Skystar asked. “Well, the question is, how so quick?” Blossomstar asked. “It felt longer there than actual time.” Crystalstar said. “Well, I’m going to tell everyone when we get back to camp, you three do the same.” Lightstar said. “And I’m going to live in that den and hunt around here I guess…don’t know much of what I’m going to do…” Crystalstar said, looking around. “Okay, well, the gathering is over.” Rainstar says. “You call it.” Skystar says. “Everyone! The gathering is over! Follow your leader back to camp!” Lightstar announced. Everyone gathered around their own clan leader and began to move back to camp. Crystalstar sat herself down on top of her den and watched everyone leave. Afterwards, she stood up and walked into her den. Now what? “Alright everyone, I have an announcement.” Lightstar said, hopping up onto The Tree. “What is it?” Goldspot asked. “Why did Crystalheart stay and not come with us?” Talonheart asked. “Well…that’s what I’m going to tell you. She is now The Great leader, the leader of all clans. Every clan has a leader but Mountain Full of Stars decided there had to be a leader of all clans. She is now Crystalstar.” Lightstar announced. Forestclan: “What?” “Really?” “What now?” “Go on as normal?” “What is she going to do?” “Why does there have to be a leader of all clans?” “We’ll see soon enough.” Lightstar said, hopping off The Tree. Crystalstar went to sleep. Maybe I need to sleep and see what happens tomorrow. Crystalstar yawned and stretched. She looked outside. Looks like it’s the next day. She walked out and stood in the sunlight. Beautiful today, maybe…because I’m the great leader I can go to whatever clan I want to and check on them. I’ll do that today. But for now, I’ll relax and enjoy this pretty morning. After a while, she decided to check on Forestclan. I guess I can just go on in. Once she got to the camp entrance, she looked in. “Hello!” Crystalstar said, walking in. Everyone stood still and stopped what they were doing. “Oh, hi Crystalstar!” Lightstar said, walking over to her. “Why is everyone standing still?” Crystalstar asked. “Dunno.” Lightstar said, shrugging. “I have come to check on you and everyone, I guessed I could with every clan.” Crystalstar said. “We’re well.” Lightstar said. “Well, if I can’t help much then I’ll go.” Crystalstar said. “Stay as long as you like.” Lightstar said, inviting her in. “I think I’m good, I’ll come back tomorrow. Have a good day!” Crystalstar said, walking away. “Have a good day too!” Lightstar said. Well, I wonder why they froze when they saw me. I guess they weren’t expecting me to be The Great Leader. I bet they don’t understand it at all. I’ll check on and see Windclan first, they’re the closest to Forestclan. Once she was there, she waited for a patrol just because she didn’t know where the camp was. “What are you doing here?” Windmist asked. “You know, I’m Crystalstar now right? The Great Leader of all the clans.” Crystalstar said. “Yeah we heard.” Pondheart says. “I’m checking on all the clans. I didn’t know where your camp was so I waited for you.” Crystalstar said. “Am I not welcome?” She asked. “Oh, you're welcome if it's just, the day after the gathering you’d come?” Windmist tilted her head. “I don’t really know what to do so, yeah.” Crystalstar said. "Well, come with us." Pondheart said. Crystalstar followed them.
“And we’re here.” Windmist said. “And we’re here.” Windmist said. “Welcome Crystalstar! I’m guessing you're visiting right?” Blossomstar walks over to Crystalstar. “Yeah, I’m visiting. Checking in to see how the clan is.” Crystalstar says. “Hello!” Meadowsky said coming out of her den. “Hello!” Crystalstar said to Meadowsky. “Do I need to help with anything?” Crystalstar asked Blossomstar. “No, unless some dragon here needs help that I don’t know of, no. Unless you’d like to stay.” Blossomstar said. “No, I think I’ll go. I need to check on Iceclan and Waterclan.” Crystalstar said. “Any trouble with the other clans?” She asked. “No.” Blossomstar said. “Goodbye!” Blossomstar said, as Crystalstar was leaving. Shouldn’t it be good that I don't need to help? Well, if I don’t need to help the other clans, what will I do for the rest of the day? Nap? Sleep? Sit? Hunt? I guess I’ll see. She walked to Iceclan. This is almost too much walking! I still want to visit Waterclan after this. I’m glad it’s just the afternoon. She sat herself down at the border. There has to be a patrol, right? She saw some dragons hunting. Once she saw they weren’t busy taking down or stalking prey, she walked over. “Hey, I thought it’d be okay to check on your clan.” Crystalstar said. “Well, sure.” Sunclaw said. “Come on.” She followed them as they walked to camp. “Oh hello Crystalstar!” Rainstar said from up on The Tree. Every clan has The Tree and that’s where meetings are held and that’s also where leaders watch the clan. “It’s like being a leader of one clan but you are a leader of all the clans. I’m hardly a warrior! I don’t feel ready.” She says. They both sit down. Rainstar wraps her tail around Crystalstar's tail. Crystalstar looks at her with a soft look in her eyes. “I’m not ready.” She says. “You’ll see. There is always a reason why Mountain Full of Stars gives you a gift, like yours, being a Great Leader.” Rainstar says. “We can sit here all day if you need to. Oakblossom won’t have her dragonets until tomorrow.” Rainstar says. “I still need to check on the other clan, Waterclan.” Crystalstar says. “You can stay, they can wait, you said you want to help all of the clans and you want to help us, you can stay here.” Rainstar says. “Yeah, I’ll stay.” Crystalstar says. She looks at the sky. It is beautiful today.” She says. “Yeah.” Rainstar says, looking up at the sky. “Are you okay?” She asks. “Yeah, if not right now, I will be.” Crystalstar responds. “Good. That’s good.” Rainstar says softly. They sit there until it’s the evening. “Well, I need to go, and I bet you need to sleep.” Rainstar says, standing up and stretching. “You mean, make sure everyone is going to their den right?” Crystalstar asks. “Yeah, and you need to sleep. I’ll sleep soon.” Rainstar says. “Okay.” Crystalstar says, yawning. She walks into the leader's den and sits down and falls asleep. “You are wonderful to be helping the clans.” Roseheart says, coming into view. “Isn’t it one of my jobs?” Crystalstar asked. “It is not a job, it is a wonderful thing that you're a leader, a Great Leader.” Roseheart says. “Why do you, a healer, come to me?” She asked. “Because I want to, I’ve told you before.” Roseheart says. “Oh okay fine, I won’t ask again.” Crystalstar says. “Yet there is something you must know.” Roseheart says. “What is it?” Crystalstar asked “The dragonest that are going to be born have some power, well, one of them. You have to watch them but they have to stay in their clan. You have to choose their mentor, I’ll tell you their power one day.” Roseheart says. “Goodbye.” She says. “Wait what? Okay…bye” Crystalstar says. A dragonet with some power? I have to choose their mentor? I have to make sure they are doing good? Doing what is good though? Great stars. She wakes up early being shaken by someone. “Icewing?” Crystalstar asked. “I’m not Icewing, I’m Rainstar. Oakblossom is going to have her dragonets soon!” Rainstar says. Crystalstar shoults up. She runs straight to the nursery. “Not now, soon.” Rainstar says, catching up to her. Crystalstar sits seeing that Oakblossom is still asleep. Okayblossom opens her eyes. “Oh hello Crystalstar.” She says softly. “Do you feel your dragonets coming?” Crystalstar asked. “Yes, are you here to help?” Oakblossome responds. “Yes.” Crystalstar replies. “Is the healer going to help?” She asked. “Yes.” Rainstar replied to Okayblossom. “Good.” Okayblossom says. She rests her head on the bedding. The healer comes in. “Is she going to have her dragonets soon?” Pepperheart asked. “Yes.” Rainstar reptiles. Pepperheart notices that soon is right now. Okablossom feels some pain. “Bite on this stick.” Pepperheart tells Oakblossom. She bites on the stick. Two dragonets come out. “And that’s it, no more.” Pepperheart says.
