The fight escalated from Thanos's continued bullying and verbal abuse of Myung-gi, leading to Myung-gi's desperate act of self-defense and killing Thanos. Hawkfrost: Hawkfrost died during a fight with his half-brother, Brambleclaw (now known as Bramblestar), at the lake after he tried to force Brambleclaw to kill Firestar in a fox trap. Brambleclaw refused to kill Firestar and instead used a sharp stick from the fox trap to stab Hawkfrost in the neck, killing him. Hawkfrost's body fell into the lake, and his blood stained the water red, fulfilling a prophecy.
