June 11th, 2025 Dear Diary, Guess how many notifications I had this morning? Not one, not two—twenty. Nineteen were from Jenny’s post. One was from Aria, telling me to meet her at Smoothie Paradise at 11. So I went. When I got there, Aria was already sitting at our table with two smoothies and that look on her face like, “Okay, tell me everything.” But before I could even sit down, she looked over my shoulder and her eyes went wide. Jenny. She came strutting in with a too-sweet smile and a pink smoothie in hand. She walked over like she had something to say—then tripped and tried to spill her smoothie on me. But the universe had other plans, because right then, Luca walked by, and the smoothie splattered all over her instead. Aria and I were dying trying not to laugh (emphasis on trying) She stormed off to the bathroom, and Luca, being the actual sweetest, came back a minute later with a couple napkins and a towel. He had this little giggle going as he cleaned up the table. It was kind of adorable. Once he was done, he looked at me and said, “Mind if I sit?” Aria stood up and smiled like she knew, then said, “I’ll be right back,” and headed to the restroom. So now it was just me and him. I fiddled with my straw for a second, then asked, “Did you see Jenny’s post?” He nodded. “Yeah, I saw it.” He looked kind of serious. “Honestly, it made me mad.” I blinked. “Mad?” “Yeah. Because it’s not true. You weren’t doing anything wrong—we were just sitting there. She made it look like something it wasn’t. And that’s not fair.” Then he looked right at me and said, “You’re actually one of the nicest people I’ve met all summer. I hate that she’s trying to make you look like the bad guy.” And... wow. I didn’t even know what to say.
