Chapter 3 is out! and I will also be leaving for camp and won't be back until the 30th. tw:mention of k!lling, Chapter 3. The creature (Wonder) I looked down the cliff and took a breath. I don’t know why I was nervous because I can fly, but it's alright. I started to turn around but then I got pushed. I started to fall down the cliff with the rope falling with me. But then I started to flap my wings and stopped myself in the air. I looked up and saw it was Jack. I rolled my eyes and flew up to the cliff. I stared at Jack and crossed my arms. Jack looked at me weirdly. “Of course you can fly.” Jack muttered. “What the heck is wrong with you?” Zion said. “Yeah of course I can fly. What do you think wings are for?” I said. “Isn’t it obvious moron? I tried to kill the freak.” He said. That made Zion angry. Zion stepped closer to Jack and grabbed his shirt and looked him straight in the eyes. “I know I have said this many times before. But if you ever, EVER touch her again. I WILL kill you. You got that?” Zion said. Jack stared at him. “Yeah whatever.” He said and he pushed Zion away from him and walked off. I landed on the edge of the cliff and Zion ran towards me and hugged me. “You alright?” He asked. “Yeah I’m fine.” I said. “Freaking Jack. He’s the moron. Not you Zion,” Xander said. Zion smiled. “I’m not going to repel, flying is funner.” I said. and I unhooked myself from the rope. I handed it to Zion and then fell off the cliff myself. I started to flap my wings and I started to fly. I flew around in the sky making loops in the air. “Having fun up there?” Eclipse yelled. I stopped and looked down at Eclipse. “Yeah!” I said. I started to fly down towards the ground and landed next to Eclipse. I rested my wings on my back. Zion just finished. I waved at him and he sat next to me. After Ash, Cooki, and Xander came down we all talked until Lily came up to all of the groups. I looked over to Eclipse, she looked annoyed. I looked back up to Lily. “Well good job everyone! I hope that was fun! Well we are going to go back to camp and get lunch ready!” Lily said. Lily started to walk down the path and everyone followed her. I grabbed Zion’s hand and walked with him. I looked over to Jack’s group and Jack made a weird face at me like he was disgusted or something. I rolled my eyes and stared at my feet. We finally made it to the campsite. Lily ordered us to sit at our tables. Me and my group walked towards our table and sat down. We started to talk to each other until Hanna came up to us. “Can you guys help prepare lunch?” She asked. “Uh sure!” Eclipse said. We got up from our seats and followed her until we were next to the counselors cabin. There was an outdoor kitchen with grills, tables and food. Hanna walked over to us. “Ok guys, today we are going to be making hot dogs!” She said, “I’m going to split you guys up to do different things. Hanna guided us over to the kitchen. “Eclipse and Ash, you guys will help grill hot dogs. Cooki and Xander, you will cut up some fruit for a fruit salad. Zion you will squeeze oranges to make orange juice. And Wonder, you’ll prepare stuff for tables.” Hanna said. Everyone went to a different station. I looked around for plates, napkins, cups and forks. I found them on a table next to the fruits, and grabbed a handful of them. I started to walk towards the tables and give the people their stuff. I was almost done when I had to give Jack and his friends their stuff. I groaned and paused for a second to think. I’ll just do it and get over it. I walked over to Jack’s table and didn’t even hand them their stuff. I just threw it on the table. Jack looked at me and smirked. “Oh look, the freak is a maid now! Come on, fetch me an apple. Go on!” He said, and his friends laughed. “Oh shut up,” I said. “Oh that's no way to speak to me!” Jack said. Rage kicked in but I held it in. I just finished handing their things then left. I heard their laughs and I started to tear up in anger. I wiped my eyes as I headed towards the kitchen. I stood next to Cooki. “Are you all done?” Cooki said. “Yeah” I mumbled. Cooki stared at me. “Something wrong?” She asked. “Jack,” I said. “Don’t listen to him. He’s an idiot.” Cooki said. I smiled softly. “Thanks.” I said. Finally everyone finished doing their jobs and the leaders called everyone over to get their things. My group got in line first though because we helped prepare it. We got our food and we started to eat. I finished first out of all my friends. I stood up and walked over to the trash cans to throw away my food, but then Jack came over and spilled orange juice all over my clothes. My jaw dropped and I looked up to Jack. He was laughing so hard. I started to tear up. These clothes were given to me by Zion and they were really special. “Aw you're going to cry again crybaby? Hey you got two nicknames! Crybaby and freak!” Jack said. A few tears went down my face and I ran towards my table. I could hear Jack laughing.
I sat down on my seat and put my head down on the table. “Wonder you ok?” Eclipse asked. I shook my head. “What happened?” She asked. I put my head up then showed my shirt. It was spilt with orange juice. Eclipse gasped. “Did someone spill it on you?” She asked. I nodded, “Jack did.” Eclipse banged her fist on the table. “I’m so sorry Wonder.” Eclipse said. Cooki got up. “Come with me, let's get you changed.” Cooki said. I nodded and I followed her to our cabin. We entered our cabin and I chose clothes from our closet. I walked into the changing room at the end of the cabin. “Jack is such a bozo.” Cooki said. “I agree.” I said, “I’ve been bullied all my life, and I was able to stand up for myself. But since Omega mart, I’ve just been weak.” “You're not weak!” “Yes I am. No matter how hard I try I just can't be brave. I always need someone to help me.” “Even if that's true that doesn't change how I see you. You will always be strong and brave to me.” I smiled as I walked out of the changing room. “Thanks Cooki” I said and I hugged her. “You're welcome.” She said, Eclipse, Xander, Ash, and Zion came in the cabin. I went towards Zion and hugged him. “What are we doing now?” Cooki asked. “Freetime.” Eclipse said. “Oh cool! What do we want to do?” Cooki asked. “I heard this really cool cave around here, we could go there.” Xander said. “Oh, sounds interesting!” Cooki said. “Then let's go there!” Eclipse said. We all agreed to go to the cave. We grabbed water bottles and told the leaders that we were going there. Then we started to follow the path up to the cave. I didn’t say much on the walk there. I just stayed close to Zion the whole way. I was just worried that Jack would come up and do something. “Well look who's here.” said Ash. I looked up and I saw Jack’s group. I stood behind Zion. “Well well well, look at what we got here-” Jack got cut off. Eclipse walked up to him and punched him in the face. “Don’t mess with my friends.” she said, and then she shoved him. I looked at Eclipse in shock then at Jack. He had his hand on his eye and his friends were circling around him. I saw Zion smile as we walked past them. I looked at Eclipse and I smiled at her. She smiled back. We finally made it to the cave after a while. It was quite huge. We walked inside and looked around. I heard Cooki scream and jump into Ash’s arms when she saw a spider. We all laughed. While I was looking at things, I started to feel a chill down my spine. I looked around. Everyone else was having a good time. I still looked around. Suddenly I heard a loud ringing sound in my ears. I closed my eyes and put my hands to my ears. I teared up and sat on the ground. My head started to hurt. I opened my eyes. I looked around, my head throbbing. The ringing was still there but I rubbed it off. I stood up and walked towards Zion. I got dizzy then fell into his arms. I couldn’t hear anything. I could hear muffled talking, but I couldn’t understand what was going on. Then, it got dark. I woke up suddenly inside a cabin. I sat straight up and looked around. It was smaller than my cabin. There was a small table at the corner with some chairs around it. In front of me was a table with some medicines on it. And some pictures around the room. I looked down and realized I was on a bed. Then someone walked in the room. It was the nurse. “Oh you're awake!” She said, “Uh hi. What happened?” I asked. “You passed out.” “How?” “I don’t know. Your friends came rushing in and just told me you passed out. Could you tell me what happened?” “Well I suddenly started to hear ringing in my ear, it got louder and louder. Then my head started to hurt and then I passed out.” “Ah, sounds like stress” She said, pouring water into a cup, “Does your head still hurt?” “Yeah, just a little,” I said. The nurse handed me a cup of water and a pill. “Oh thanks,” I said, I took a sip of water, threw the pill in, and swallowed it. “You should probably get some rest, you’ll need it.” She said, I nodded and I laid back down on the bed and closed my eyes. I woke up again in the same room. It was a bit darker though. I looked around to find a clock. I found one and read the time. It was 6:48p.m. Wow, I was asleep for a while. I got up from the bed. I walked outside from the room and saw the nurse. She looked at me and smiled. “Feeling better?” She asked. “Yeah.” I said. “Everyone has gone to an activity but I told Lily that you would stay here on a campsite so you can go back to your cabin and come to me if you need anything.” The nurse said. “Ok, thank you!” I said, and I walked out the door. I walked towards my cabin and then when I got close to it I opened the door and headed inside. I closed the door behind me and turned on the lights. I sighed and walked over to my bed. I looked inside my bag and pulled out my phone and my headphones and started to listen to some music. I also pulled out my sketchbook and walked over to the table and started to draw.
