Whispers of the Sea The sun wakes up with a golden yawn, Spreading light across the dawn. Waves come in with a salty cheer, Singing songs we love to hear. The sand is soft, warm like a hug, Tiny shells beneath it snug. Footprints mark where we have been, Only to fade, like dreams within. Palm trees sway in gentle grace, Dancing slow, a perfect pace. Seagulls cry and glide above, Filling skies with sounds we love. The water sparkles, blue and wide, With secrets that it tries to hide. Fishy friends swim close then far, Under the shimmer of a star. I dip my toes and feel the tide, Cool and calm, it pulls, then slides. The ocean speaks in hush and roar, It tells me tales, then asks for more. I build a castle, tall and proud, With seaweed flags and walls so loud. But when the waves come crashing through, I laugh and start again anew. Sunset colors paint the sky, Pink and gold as day says bye. The stars peek out, the moon glows bright, The beach now rests beneath the night. Here I sit, heart full and free, By the edge of land and sea. Where worries fade and joy is true — The beach will always welcome you. @Beach @Beach @Beach @Beach @Beach @Beach @Beach @Beach @Beach @Beach @Beach @Beach @Beach @Beach @Beach
