My people don't live on planets, the high gravity, the fact that they are so easily destroyed, the constraints for building, but that changes right now. I finally colonized a planet. I have colonized multiple dwarves, but nothing this big. I call it Trantor, named after the Ecumenopolis featured in the Foundation Trilogy by Isaac Asimov (a highly recommended book for sci-fi). Trantor is located in the Glava system Trantor is an Ecumenopolis, which is a city world (ex, Coruscant, starwars) But I am going to do this a little differently, rather than just making the planet, I am going to be building up everything possible to protect this system and the planets, and it will be fully self-reliant. Trantor will have 3 orbital rings rotating around it, each armed with countless guns and, even more, people. Each ring is used for something different; the inner ring is housing, the second ring is industrial, and the outer one is Purley for housing ships and bringing in visitors. These rings cover enough range to be able to shoot down almost all forms of missiles or ships attempting to attack. Trantor has strict rules about ships that are not transport pods moving inside the third ring's radius; all ships must dock at the third ring and take transport pods to the surface or other rings. Galva has three other planets that are used strictly to grow food, agricultural planets. These will supply all food needed for Trantor, and each planet will also have an orbital ring for defense, along with defenses on the surface. Galva also hosts a large Dyson swarm to allow for power generation not completely reliant on Horizon's edge. There are 18 dwarf planets spread out across Galva, each has been converted into a military base to stop any intruders. The final and craziest thing about Galva is its huge ring orbiting its star. We have constructed a megastructure to spin around Galva's star. Using precise math, we have managed to get it to perfectly spin with the star to avoid it falling into the star. The purpose of this ring is to capture more of the stars' energy, also to help with defense and build extremely large amounts of ships, very quickly. This star ring is 43 million miles in diameter and will not be finished until September 17th due to its huge size. This ring will be the biggest structure ever constructed in the CBMV. This ring will make making huge amounts of ships insanely fast. It is armed with so much firepower that it is nearly untouchable. Trantor will be the most influential place in the entire BlackSmith world. Trantor will become the new capital and a base of operations. We are building a star ring, the largest structure in the CBMV. We are moving to a new age. (EDIT) We have located all major and high-value mercenary groups, mafias, and gangs, and offered to pay them a very large swath of money in exchange for not bombing or messing with the Galva system. We also threatened that we would use everything that we could to crush their entire existence into dust if they ever attacked or caused any kind of chaos in the Galva system. Shadow Base has been formed and prepared.
